    • PURPOSE:To adequately register accumulated bundles of printed sheets so as to prevent damage in the printed sheets or paper jam during accumulation by controlling a supporting member driving unit on the basis of the detected accumulating load so as to increase/decrease moving speed of a supporting member. CONSTITUTION:An actual accumulating load P2 detected in load cells 5a of a supporting member 5 serving as an accumulating load detecting unit, load cells 10a of pulleys 10 installed in a supporting frame 6, and a load cell 8a of each of fixing members 8. In an accumulating load comparing unit, an initial accumulating load P1 and the detected accumulating load P2 are compared with each other, and when a difference between them is found, a signal based on the difference is sent from the accumulating load comparing unit to a moving speed regulating unit. In the moving speed regulating unit, a supporting member driving unit is controlled on the basis of this signal so that a supporting member 5 is moved at the optimum velocity V2. By this control, a load applied onto a bundle of printed sheets T during accumulation is kept constant or is varied according to the formation of the bundle of the sheets T, so that compressing force of the bundle of the printed sheets T is maintained in the optimum condition, and registration of the bundle of the printed sheets is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To enable printing with good efficiency and at a high speed by a method wherein sheets superimposed on one another in such a manner that at least their portions to be printed are arrayed stepwise so as to be exposed are allowed to pass through a printing part. CONSTITUTION:For example, seven sheets 11 constituting one set of a calendar 10 are shifted in such a manner that portions 11a to be printed on the sheets are exposed and arrayed to have the same pitch as that of a store name 17 on a plate cylinder 14, and are superimposed on one another. The sheets arrayed stepwise in this manner are allowed to pass through a printing part 13 in the state as they are, and the plate cylinder 14 and a blanket cylinder 15 are rotated once in a given timing so that the store name can be printed within the printing range. Thus, printing to the predetermined places of the seven sheets 11 is done by one operation. That is, the portions to be printed on respective sheets are arrayed to be in high density to pass through a printing part and, as a result, printing can be done with good efficiency and at a high speed.

    • PURPOSE:To securely send out stitched sheets of paper one volume each at a time by blowing air into between the topmost volume of stitched sheets of paper and volumes of stitched sheets of paper on its lower part to float up the topmost volume of stitched sheets of paper and sending out the topmost volume of stitched sheets of paper in this condition. CONSTITUTION:Air 7 is blown out of the nozzle of an air blow-out device 6 into between the topmost volume of stitched sheets of paper 3 and volumes of stitched sheets of paper 3 on its lower part to float up the topmost volume of stitched sheets of paper 3. Thereby, the friction resistance between the topmost volume of stitched sheets of paper 3 and the volume of stitched sheets of paper 3 on its lower part is greatly reduced making the topmost volume of stitched sheets of paper 3 easy to move. As the topmost volume of stitched sheets of paper 3 is floated up, its top face on the base end side is brought into pressure contact with the contact piece 10a of a delivering device 10. Then, by driving a driving part 10b, the topmost volume of stitched sheets of paper 3 is sent out forward at a defines stroke. Thereupon, the end of the volume of stitched sheets of paper 3 is held between rubber rollers 12 from up and down to send the volume of stitched sheets of paper 3 further forward. Thereby, only the topmost volume of stitched sheets of paper 3 can be securely sent out without impairing the binding of the stitched sheets of paper, with a slight force.
