    • PURPOSE: To obtain a lining coat of constantly appropriate thickness by making a clearance formed between a lid bracket and a flange face convex so as to spread out toward a center, in a method for lining a flanged tubular body by fusing and coating a resin on the flange face. CONSTITUTION: This method for lining in resin is to attach a lid bracket 2 to a heated flanged tubular body 1, then supply a powder resin 5 to the interior of a rotating tubular body 1, and fuse and coat the resin 5 to the inner surface of the tube and also the surface of a flange. The lid bracket 2 is formed of a gradient wall 23 which becomes remote from the surface of the flange from the part for fastening to the flange(f) to the crest part. In addition, a quantity of powder resin required for forming the film with a prescribed thickness coated on the flange(f) is stored in a space formed by the inner side of the gradient wall 23, and the flange(f) and an almost horizontal face including the lower end of a circular hole located in the center of the lid bracket. Further, a fluororesin-coated layer 25 showing non-viscosity to a fused resin is formed on the inner surface of the gradient wall 23.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress boiling of a cooling water and to maintain smoothness of a coating film in the process to cool and solidify a melted layer of a thermoplastic resin coating material formed on the surface of a metal member, by bringing a cooling water containing a specified amt. of a water-soluble low mol.wt. polyol into contact with the melted layer. SOLUTION: When a metal member such as a steel pipe for piping is coated with a thermoplastic material essentially comprising polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, polyamide, satd. polyester, etc., by hot-melt coating, a melted layer of the thermoplastic resin coating material is formed on the surface of the metal member and then the layer is solidified by cooling to form a coating film. In this process of cooling and solidifying, a cooling water into which a water-soluble low mol.wt. polyol is compounded by 5-25% is used and is directly brought into contact with the melted layer. The cooling and solidifying rate of the melted layer can be controlled by heating the cooling water. Thereby the wettability of the melted layer surface with the cooling water can be improved to minimize production of air bubbles during boiling, and the smoothness of the coating film can be maintained in a good state.

    • PURPOSE:To efficiently perform coating having necessary environmental barrier properties and reinforcement effect of a strip conductor by supplying resin necessary for coating to the strip conductor in the shape of a wire rod and also performing operation for heating and melting resin through conduction of electricity and heat input to a conductor wire coated with resin. CONSTITUTION:The external circumference of a strip conductor such as a pipe is coated with resin to prevent corrosion. In the case, firstly a conductor wire 2 coated with thermoplastic resin is spirally wound on the external circumference of the strip conductor 1 in a single winding shape or in a lead line shape and a spirally winding layer is formed. Then electricity is conducted through the spirally wound conductor wire 2 and coating resin is melted to mutually melt-stick adjacent coating resin. At the time, for example, a coil 3 for electromagnetic induction is concentrically provided in the vicinity of one end of the spirally winding layer and electricity is conducted from the power source 4 of an electrodissolution machine to the coil 3. The spirally winding layer is integrated in a cylindrical shape. Thereby coating is efficiently performed which has the environmental barrier properties necessary for anticorrosion or the like and reinforcement effect of the strip conductor 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly form a coat when feeding resin powder into a short pipe heated and rotating to form a resin coating layer on the inner surface of the pipe by changing the configuration of the pipe in the pipe peripheral direction to perform operation of rotating the pipe body. SOLUTION: When applying this method to a pipe with branch pipes P3 fitted with two branch pipes p2 , p3 at an included angle of about 90 deg., the pipe with branch pipes P3 is heated to suitable temperature not less than a melting point of resin to be coated. After that, one pipe end h1 of the main pipe is connected to a raw material feeding tank T, and all the residual pipe ends h3 , h4 are sealed by covers Ca. While rotating the pipe with branch pipes P3 to spread resin powder in the tank T into the pipe body, it is melted to form a resin coat on the inner surface of the pipe. At this time, at first, the configuration of the pipe in the pipe peripheral direction is made that in which one branch pipe p2 falls within a rotating surface 'a', and then at a suitable point of time, the configuration is changed to that in which the other branch pipe p3 falls within the rotating surface 'a' to surely spread the powder into each region within the pipe.
