Next, the separating pawl 3 is released from a release cam, to energize the sheet by a pawl spring with the support point 3a serving as the center, so as to start separating action.

The replaced dummy 3 is reutilized in the device as the tank of waste ink sent from the head 1 through suction restoration treatment which is performed to improve an ink-discharging state by a microhead restoration device 4.
