摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording sheet guide structure capable of appropriately separating a recording sheet, which is conveyed from between an image carrier and a transfer section, from the image carrier and conveying the sheet regardless of a width dimension of the sheet, and capable of suppressing contamination on a transfer surface of the sheet.SOLUTION: The recording sheet guide structure includes: a pair of first guide parts 91 which includes first ridge parts 91B slidable on a transfer surface side at both ends in a width direction of a first recording sheet (sheet S1) having a first width and which can guide both ends in the width direction of the first recording sheet in a direction away from the image carrier; and a pair of second guide parts 92 which includes second ridge parts 92B slidable on a transfer surface side at both ends in a width direction of a second recording sheet (sheet S2) having a second width smaller than the first width, and which can guide both ends in the width direction of the second recording sheet in a direction away from the image carrier. The pair of second guide parts 92 is disposed inside the first guide parts 91 in the width direction and downstream the pair of first guide parts 91 along the conveyance direction of the recording sheet.

The guide member 316 is a flexible member that is laminar in a side cross sectional view and is provided at the position closer to the transfer roller side than a conveyance path of a recording medium and more upstream than a transfer portion in the conveyance path so that the recording medium is guided to the transfer portion. The projection support member 3153 is provided on the guide member support frame 315 between the transfer portion in the conveyance path and the guide member 316 so that a rear end of the recording medium passing the guide member 316 is supported and a free end of the guide member 316 is supported from a lower side.
