    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost key switch capable of increasing the size of a key stroke while coping with reduction in size and thickness of a keyboard, improving the operability in key entry with a simple structure, and assuring the key entry. SOLUTION: Two links 4 and 5 for liftably guiding a key top 2 are disposed crossingly in X shape as viewed from the side, and rotatably connected to each other at the intermediate crossing part. One ends of the free ends of the links 4 and 5 are locked to the lower surface of the key top 2 and a holder member 8 slidably in horizontal direction, and the other ends thereof are locked rotatably to the lower surface of the key top 2 and the holder member 8. A first spring member 6 and a second spring member 7 are formed integrally with one link 4. When the key top is pressed down, the second spring member 7 presses down a switching part 29 provided on a flexible printed circuit board 9 disposed underside the holder member 8 through a hole part 26 formed in the holder member 8.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key switch device easily lockable to a rotational locking part without bending or deforming an upper locking member and a lower locking member, when the upper locking member of a first link member forming a guide supporting member is locked to the rotational member of a key top and also when the lower locking member of a second link member is locked to the rotational locking part of a holder member. SOLUTION: When the first locking pins 13, 14 of a link member 7 are locked to the rotational locking part of a key top 1, and when the first locking pins 21, 22 of a link member 8 are locked to the rotational locking part 27 of a holder member 25, an base end pat 10 located adjacently to the first locking pins 13, 14 to act as a reinforcement member while having bigger rigidity than the first locking pins 13, 14 is formed on the link member 7, and another base end part located adjacently to the first locking pins 21, 22 to act as a reinforcement member while having higher rigidity than the first locking pins 21, 22 is formed on the link member 8.
