      SOLUTION: The drying machine has a rotary drum for housing clothes, a motor for driving the rotary drum and a case body for supporting the rotary drum and performs a drying operation, wherein means for blowing air into the rotary drum during the drying operation is provided, and the means for blowing the air includes a blowing means and a nozzle provided on the discharge side of the blowing means. The blowing means has an impeller including a front surface plate with a suction port, a rear surface plate, and a blade provided between the front surface plate and the rear surface plate to be moved back to the opposite side of a rotating direction as approaching the outer diameter side from the center side, a spiral flow path, and a partition plate provided on the exit of the flow path. A distance between the distal end of the partition plate and the impeller is larger than the minimum distance between the wall surface of the flow path and the impeller.
