    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate broadcast type CSMA/CA (Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Avoidance) communication quality in a short time. SOLUTION: The number of terminals inside an overlapped region, the amount of packets to be generated per terminal, a first unit time and a probability of re-scheduling of packet transmission are used to calculate a first normalization traffic volume within the first unit time, and a desired wave transmission success rate is calculated using a predetermined statistic model. In a case where a region excluding the overlapped region from an interference area is divided into a plurality of divided regions in accordance with a CINR (Carrier-to-Interference noise ratio), the number of hidden terminals in each divided region, the amount of packets to be generated per terminal and a second unit time shorter than the first unit time by a DIFS (Distributed Coordination Function) time are used to calculate a second normalization traffic volume, for each divided region, that is incurred from the hidden terminals within the second unit time. The second normalization traffic volume for each divided region and a PER (Packet Error Rate) corresponding to CINR are used to calculate a packet error rate, thereby calculating a packet arrival rate that is a product of an interference avoidance rate, caused by the hidden terminals, calculated from the packet error rate and the desired wave transmission success rate.
