    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compensation method of image array data capable of effectively suppressing the creation of an error color. SOLUTION: In the compensation method of the image array data, the detail structure component of the image is acquired by four central value filters and a Gb value of the detail structure component is obtained by the two central value filters among these and a Gr value for the detail structure component is obtained by the other two central value filters. Next, the respective average values for the acquired Gb value and Gr value are calculated and an amount of compensation is determined by multiplying the difference between the two average values and a prescribed value. Thereafter, the amount of compensation is added to the original Gb value and Gr value. The amount of compensation is subtracted from the original Gb value and Gr value, respectively, and thereby the Gb value and the Gr value after the compensation can be calculated.
