    • PURPOSE: To obtain an excipient for direct tableting, having improved moldability, by spray-drying an aqueous solution or slurry of D-mannitol and starch hydrolyzate in a specific temperature range.
      CONSTITUTION: 99.8W75pts.wt. D-mannitol and 0.2W25pts.wt. starch hydrolyzate are spray-dried at 110W150°C exhaust heat temperature to give an excipient for direct tableting. If the aqueous solution or slurry of D-mannitol and the starch hydrolyzate has ≤5 DE value [quality indication of starch sugar shows direct reducing sugar (as glucose)/total solid content×100] are used, and the spray drying are carried out under the condition, the excipient for direct tableting having improved fluidity, disintegration properties, and moldability can be prepared without losing improved characteristics of D-mannitol. The excipient has d value at 5.33Å and 5.15Å in X-ray diffractionmetry as well, so correlation between moldability and the d value at 5.33A and 5.15A is ob served.

    • PURPOSE:To improve thermal stability and wear resistance and to stabilize a friction factor, by forming a friction material by making polyamide imidofiber, mineral fiber, activated charcoal made of a coconut husk and thermosetting synthetic resin into component materials. CONSTITUTION:A friction material L1 is formed by making synthetic fibrous paper by making use of 10-15wt% polyamide imidofiber, 20-60wt% mineral fiber and 5-30wt% activated charcoal made of a coconut husk, forming impregnated paper by this synthetic fibrous paper and thermosetting synthetic resin which is impregnated at the rate of 20-50wt% and making the synthetic resin cure by heating the impregnated paper under nonpressing state. With this constitution, thermal stability and wear resistance are improved and the coefficient of friction can be stabilized.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubular illumination device by which two light emission colors are seen like moving to a predetermined direction to respond to the needs that a striking illumination device is required in a shopping street or a store in order to enhance the ability to pull in more customers.
      SOLUTION: This tubular illumination device is provided with an LED connection circuit 2 wherein at least two of two-color LED lamps 1 are connected in series wherein two semiconductor light emitting elements having different light emitting colors are connected in parallel and stored to have opposite polarity from each other, an LED light emission part consisted by connecting at least two of LED turning-on circuits in parallel wherein a switch element 3 for controlling ON/OFF of electric current is connected in series, an AC power source part 4 for supplying AC electric power in the predetermined lighting frequency to the LED light emitting part, and a phase controlling circuit 5 for selectively turning on the switch element 3 only when the voltage of the AC power source part 4 is the predetermined polarity. Further, the LED connection circuit 2 is built in a transparent or semitransparent tube.

      CONSTITUTION: An aqueous solution of D-mannitol is spray-dried at 120W140°C exhaust heat temperature, to give an excipient for direct tableting. If a water-sol uble excipient for direct tableting not losing characteristics of D-mannitol, namely, good pleasantness to the palate, cooling sweetness, nonabsorption proper ties, high melting point, improved stability, no blending inhibition with main agent, having improved fluidity, disintegration properties, and moldability is obtained, it has small variability of organism utility ratio of main drug caused by an additional matter of pharmaceutical preparation, and analysis of pharma ceutical preparation can be carried out easily. The spray drying under the condition provides moldability which D-mannitol powder on the market does not have, to provide the excipient for direct tableting consisting of D-mannitol granule, having more improved fludity and disintegration properties.
