    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate blanking apparatus in which the remainder portion left as a scrap after taking out the blank as a product does not catch on a die frame composing a stripping section even when a flexible material, such as a thin paperboard, is used as a material to be blanked.
      SOLUTION: The plate blanking apparatus comprises: a pressing section for pressing a required shape on the material to be blanked; the stripping section for separating the product from the pressed material to be blanked; a delivery section for collecting the scrap portion after separating the product in the stripping section; and a carrying means for successively carrying the material to be blanked to the pressing section, the stripping section, and the delivery section. A catching preventing means is provided in the space between the stripping section and the delivery section in order to push up the scrap from below such that the scrap portion does not catch on the lower die frame composing the stripping section.
