The method for producing an expanded PTFE porous film or tape supporting catalyst particles according to the invention comprises a step of preparing tape-like porous PTFE, a step of impregnating the tape-like porous PTFE with a solution or dispersion of catalyst particles, a step of substantially removing the solvent or dispersing medium, and a step of further stretching the tape-like porous PTFE containing the catalyst particles in the machine direction (MD) and/or the transverse direction (TD).

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve bond strength and contact condition, by laminating a collector on an electrode sheet through a conductive adhesive layer contg. conductive C and binder, so as to penetrate part of this adhesive layer in pores of the electrode sheet at a specified percent age with respect to the depth of the electrode sheet. SOLUTION: An electrode comprises a conductive adhesive layer 13 contg. a conductive adhesive composed of conductive C and binder. This layer can exist in the form of penetration in pores 12 of an electrode sheet 12, using the conductive adhesive dispersed in a dispersant 13A. After removal of the dispersant, anchor effect improves bond strength of a collector 11 to the sheet 12. The penetration percentage of the adhesive layer 13 composed of such conductive adhesive into pores 12a of the sheet 12 is over 15%, pref. over 0.25% and below 30%, pref. 15% of the thickness of the sheet 12.

摘要： Disclosed is an electric double layer capacitor comprising a polarizable electrode layer that contains an activated carbon, a conductive agent, and a binder, wherein an external specific surface area of the activated carbon (defined as a specific surface area calculated from a nitrogen absorption isotherm by a t-plot method by excluding micropores of pore diameter smaller than 20 angstroms), per unit volume of the polarizable electrode layer, lies within a range of 450 to 800 m 2 /cm 3 , and a volume based on inter-particle interstices per unit volume of the polarizable electrode layer lies within a range of 0.05 to 0.12 cm 3 /cm 3 . The electric double layer capacitor according to the present invention is particularly suited to large current, quick discharge applications.
