    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin composition for laser welding having very excellent laser welding workability, in addition to high heat resistance and wet heat resistance, and to provided a laser welded body of a molding of the resin composition.SOLUTION: A resin composition for laser welding used for welding by a laser beam includes (B) 5-150 pts.mass of reinforcing filler, (C) 0-20 pts.mass of impact resistance improver, (D) 0-5 pts.mass of epoxy compound, (E) 0-10 pts.mass of flow modifier, and (F) 0.001-0.2 pts.mass of one or more of laser beam-absorptive dyes selected from a group comprising nigrosine, aniline black, phthalocyanine, naphthalocyanine, porphyrin, perylene, quaterrylene, an azo dye, anthraquinone, a squaric derivative and immonium, with respect to (A) 100 pts.mass of thermoplastic polyester resin. A converted absorbance a is 0.2-2 in the resin composition for the laser welding.
