    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To substantially reduce the abrasion wear of a connection part between a drive shaft and a roller, thereby extending the service life of a device and eventually reducing the operation cost of the device.SOLUTION: A device (1) for deformation-processing work-pieces comprises: a rotatable drive shaft (2) about a rotation axis (a); a tool (3), specifically a roller, fixed to the drive shaft (2); and a shape connection part (4), specifically a toothed shaft coupling, between the drive shaft (2) and the tool (3). The torque of the drive shaft (2) can be transferred to the tool (3) by the shape connection part (4). In this configuration, the shape connection part (4) extends across a first axial direction section (5), a second axial direction section (6) is present outside the first axial direction section (5), and in the second axial direction section (6), the drive shaft (2) and the tool (3) are formed so as to transfer a radial force and have first columnar fitting surfaces (7 and 8) which cooperate with each other.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To modify an angle-profile rolling method so that a simplified and improved formation of an equilateral or inequilateral sides angle-profile material or, if circumstances require, unequal thickness angle-profile material, is performable in wide dimensional range while maintaining the tolerance in a rolling mill train which is arranged reversibly or continuously.SOLUTION: A roll assembly for rolling the angle-profile material from a rolled matter 6, includes: an upper caliber roll 2 arranged horizontally and a lower caliber roll 3 arranged horizontally which define one rolling gap and have open type or closed type calibers located on one rolling plane perpendicular to a conveyance direction of the rolled matter 6; and at least a pair of swaging rolls 4, 5 which swage the rolled matter 6 from the sides and define one rolling plane located perpendicularly to the conveyance direction of the rolled matter 6, the swaging rolls 4, 5 not being arranged horizontally. The rolling plane defined by at least the pair of the caliber rolls and the rolling plane defined by at least the pair of the swaging rolls, are made so as not to coincide with each other.
