CONSTITUTION:An identification means 9a sends an identification signal (c) only when the means 9a receives both a signal representing it that no DC loop of a speech circuit 2 is formed from a loop detection circuit 7 and a signal representing a permanent call of a handset 6 from a hook switch 1. A timer drive means 9b starts/stops a timer 8 depending on the presence of the signal (c) and when the timer 8 is started, it drives a timer detection means 9c and a loop forming means 9e after a prescribed time to forcibly avoid forming of a DC loop of the circuit 2. The restoration or the like is implemented by a restoration means 9a or the like. Thus, a problem of the arrival of a call in the state of permanent call and the charge of the caller regardless of the absence of the caller is prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To attain the cordless configuration of a telephone set having a public telephone set function by devising the telephone set such that a call mode corresponding to the charge management method of a master set is set optionally by a mode selection switch of a slave set and a mode changeover switch of the master set. CONSTITUTION:The telephone set uses three call modes such as the coin mode in which a coin is deposited into a coin deposition port of a coin processing mechanism 13 of a master set 1 to make dialing, the printer mode in which the utility charge is printed out to a printer 14 of the master set 1 whose call is finished and the free mode in which no charge management is implemented. A slave set 2 sets the 3 kinds of modes individually in advance by using a mode selector switch 5. The master set 1 is so designed that the mode changeover switch 12 is set optionally. The control section 10 of the master set 1 decides the call mode depending on the mode set by the slave set 2 in the talking state and the mode of the mode changeover switch 12 of the master set 1. Thus, in the case of the mode of the master set 1 selected to be the coin mode, the call mode depends on the mode of the slave set 2 and in the case of the mode of the master set 1 selected to be the printer mode, the call mode is the printer mode independently of the mode of the slave set 2.
