摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing coated paper for printing use, by providing at least one side of substrate paper with one or more coating layers by a curtain coating system; more specifically, without such troubles that a curtain coating film becomes nonuniform and discontinuous due to air entrained by the substrate paper, and/or the coating film contacts the substrate paper, is accelerated to a substrate paper-traveling speed and drawn to cause coating layer defects in the production of the coated paper for printing use produced by providing at least one or more coating layers, effecting reducing fine coating layer defects.
SOLUTION: The method for producing the coated paper for printing use, includes providing at least one side of substrate paper with one or more coating layers, wherein at least one layer among the coating layers is provided by the curtain coating system, and a coating liquid for the coating layers has a tensile viscosity of 0.005-1 Pa s determined by CaBER method, at a Henky strain of 0-5.
