摘要： PURPOSE:To attain a rolling method by which good shape of a metal plate is kept even when thermal crown due to the thermal rising of work roll at the time of rolling the metal plate. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve type back-up roll 16 is divided into plural pieces in the axial direction and eccentric parts (a), (b), (c) which are respectively eccentric from respective divided axial centers are provided on a roll shaft 11 of which both ends are supported in back-up roll chocks 4. Cylindrical sleeves 14 are loosely fitted so as to be freely revolved through ball and roller bearings 13a, 13b, 13c on the respective eccentric parts. The divided rolls are formed with the outer shafts of the ball and roller bearings. The back-up roll chocks are respectively provided with bending cylinders 5 with which the roll chocks 3 of upper and lower work rolls 1 are pressurized. In the case that the temp. of the work roll is raised due to rolling and thermal crown is generated, upper and lower roll shafts 11 are turned, the crown pattern of divided eccentric roll type back-up rolls 16 is changed and dish-bottom-shaped crown pattern is imparted to the work rolls.

CONSTITUTION:The hydraulic oil O supplied in the 1st hydraulic room 11 on the rolling working time of the rolled stock is blocked on the way of the 1st liquid path 14 with the 1st pilot reserve stop valve 44, and so prevents the movement of the taper piston pin 9, 10 on the rolling time. Therefore, the stability for controlling the shape of the material to be rolled is improved, and the wear of the seal 21 22, 23, 24 of the taper pistons 9, 10 in the taper stated space 8 following to the movement of the taper piston 9, 10 can be reduced. The configuration and operation of the 2nd and the 3rd pilot reserve stop valve 45, 46 are as same as the 1st pilot reserve stop valve 44.
