    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fully charge a plurality of pack batteries in a short time by means of a very simple circuit while preventing decrease in battery performance and reducing the rate of rise in battery temperature. SOLUTION: This method for charging a plurality of pack batteries uses a charging power supply 1 for charging one by one a plurality of pack batteries 2 each of which incorporates a charge control circuit 6. The charging power supply 1 outputs charge permission signals to the charge control circuits 6 of the pack batteries 2 in sequence in a predetermined period. The charge control circuit 6 of each pack battery 2 includes a switching element 7 for controlling the charged state of a built-in secondary battery 5 and a control circuit 8 for controlling the switching element 7. The control circuit 8 performs control such that only if a charge request signal output when the battery is not fully charged and a charge permission signal are both detected, the switching element 7 is turned on to charge the secondary battery 5, whereas if either of the charge request signal and the charge permission signal is not detected, the switching element 7 is turned off to avoid charging.

SOLUTION: A heating system is provided with a microcomputer, outputting an operation signal, a temporality stopping signal and a fuel leakage monitoring signal, as well as a centralized processing controller 2, receiving the operation signal as well as temporarily stopping signal from the microcomputer and outputting a combustion starting signal as well as a combustion stopping signal to heaters 5. The heating system is also provided with a fuel supply intercepting device 3, detecting the flow rate of fuel, flowing out of a fuel tank 11 under a condition that the operation of all of the heaters 5 are stopped by receiving a fuel leakage monitoring signal from the microcomputer through a flowmeter 15 and closing a valve 13 to stop the supply of fuel and the combustion of the heaters when the flow rate is counted.

    • PURPOSE: To realize a combustion operation which is stabilized even in a high elevation area or in an operation of the burner in an excessively long run of a pipeline by lowering an operational frequency of a fuel pump and increasing the rotary speed of a combustion fan when a combustion failure is detected. CONSTITUTION: An oil burner 1, such as a fan heater or an FF-type hot air heater, is provided with a fuel pump 8 which feeds a liquid fuel to a burner 2 and a combustion fan 9 which feeds air to the burner 2 where their operations are controlled by means of a microcomputer. The fuel pump 8 and the combustion fan 9 are controlled so as to conform to a predetermined air fuel ratio during the operation. When the air fuel ratio is disturbed, the combustion failure is detected by changes produced in the current value of a flame rod 6. In this case, when the combustion failure is produced, the operation frequency of the fuel pump 8 is lowered, for example, by 10% of a rated value compared with the a mount of fuel at the present time, thereby reducing the supply amount of fuel. Furthermore, the ray speed rotation of the combustion fan 9 is increased, e.g. by 5% from the rated value, thereby bringing the operation to a stabilized operation.

CONSTITUTION:The title device comprises a bottomed vaporizing cylinder 11, an air nozzle 13 and a fuel nozzle 15 provided at the side of the vaporizing cylinder 11 as means of feeding air for combustion and liquid fuel into the vaporizing cylinder 11, a burner case 7 which is cylindrical and bottomed and provided in a manner of enclosing the vaporizing cylinder 11, a combustion cylinder 9 provided above the burner case 7, a secondary air-ejecting plate 22 having secondary air holes 23 and provided between the upper part of the vaporizing cylinder 11 and the circular wall of the burner case 7, an air-storing chamber X provided in the burner case 7 under the secondary air-ejecting plate 22, and a blower 1 for feeding air for combustion to the air-storing chamber X. The secondary air-ejecting plate 22 is held with one end fastened to the upper part of the vaporizing cylinder 11 and the other end clamped between the burner case 7 and the combustion cylinder 9 at their joint.
