摘要： PURPOSE:To accurately execute display corresponding to the quantity of dust by smoothing a value corresponding to light non-transmission quantity when sucked dust is passed between a light emitting element and a light receiving element provided on a sucking hose and comparing the smoothed value with a smoothed reference value obtained immediately after a power is supplied when sucking is not executed yet. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting element 1 and a light receiving element 2 are provided for the sucking hose, first, a light receiving element output value under a state immediately after the power is supplied in which the dust is not sucked yet is smoothed in a low-pass filter 3, sent to a storing means 5, and stored as the reference value. Further, a comparing and controlling means 4 compares the output value of the low- pass filter with the value outputted from the storing means through a level converter 7 and sends a clean signal to a display means 6 when the former is a smaller value than the latter. On the other hand, when the former is a larger value than the latter, the means 4 compares both the values with each other again. Since a threshold level accordant with the quantity of the dust can be obtained in the above-mentioned manner, the quantity of the dust can be detected and displayed accurately by sending the signal corresponding to the level to the display means.
