    • PURPOSE:To attain the transmission of an important data at maintenance communication by transmitting a data and a voice signal to a transmission line via a branching filter. CONSTITUTION:Switches SW1, SW2 are thrown normally to the postion shown in solid lines and the data collection between a master station 2 and a slave station 1 is conducted, and the important item priority transmitting function is provided to parallel/serial and serial/parallel converters PSP 4, 9. In case of the maintenance communication between the slave station 1 and the master station 2, when telephone sets 8, 13 are hooked off, the switches SW1, SW2 are thrown to the position shown in dotted lines and the PSP 4, 9 attain to the state of important item priority transmitting state. Then the maintenance communication is conducted through the switch SW1, transmission line 3, the SW2 and a branching filter 12 and the transmission of the important item data is conducted through the PSP4, a 200-bit/s data transmitter 6, the branching filter 7, the SW1, the transmission line 3, the SW2, a data transmitter 11, and the PSP9. Thus, the data of important item is transmitted at even the maintenance communication.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the transmission controlling means of a branch circuit by dividing the using frequency of the circuit into prescribed frequency and assigning the divided frequency to each local station. CONSTITUTION:A distributor 30H of a collecting MODEM30 distributes a carriers from a receiving (R) line of a circuit 28 to respective simplex MODEMs 30A-30F and a collecting device 30G synthesizes carriers sent from the respective simplex MODEMs 30A-30F in every frequency band and sends the synthesized output to a sending (S) line. In case of transmission, each simplex MODEM discriminates a band to which an SD signal belongs on the base of indexes A, Z and, after modulating the signal at the corresponding frequency and removing a higher harmonic by a band pass filter which is not shown in the drawing, sends the filtered signal to the circuit. The signal transmitted by said procedure is demodulated by a band-pass filter (not shown) of the corresponding frequency. Consequently, the transmission controlling means of the branch circuit can be simplified equivalently to the point-to-point system.
