摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a chuck device by which thin work can be fixed without any distortion by uniformly clamping the thin work by means of equilibrium functions of an inside claw and an outside claw. CONSTITUTION:When an inside diameter of work 24 is not a complete round, a ring 8 with a sphere seat is inclined, and three inside claws 11 are brought into contact with the inside diameter of the work 24 while deflected from each other in the axial direction. In this process, contact force of each of the inside claws 11 with the inside diameter is equal to each other, and is represented by the value found by dividing the force, which is generated when a compression spring 7 is compressed, into equal three parts. On the other hand, a slide ring 12 is moved upward so as to be rotated on a spherical face of a sleeve 4 with a flange, with which the slide ring is brought into contact, in the clockwise direction. According to this, a lever 14 is rotated counterclockwise, and the upper outside claw 17 clamps the work in the outside position in the diameter direction beyond the lower outside claw 17. In this case, the force for clamping the outside diameter is almost equal to one third of hydraulic force for drawing a draw bar 2.
