    • PURPOSE:To perform partitioning operation reliably by inserting an partitioning/ receiving member into notes while matching with the timing for transferring the partitioned section of a row of notes windened more than average overlapping pitch to the stacked section. CONSTITUTION:In partitioning device of printed note stacker, a forked partitioning/receiving member 3 for partitioning every predetermined number is waited above the note colliding section of a guiding member crossed in fork then a classifying device comprised of a classifying board 7 and a classifying table 8 will perform damming operation to widen the classifying section of a row of notes more than average overlapping pitch. While matching with the timing for transferring the widened section to the stacked section, the waiting partitioning/receiving member 3 is transferred to the direction opposite from the discharging direction simultaneously with lowering of the notes 11 below the discharging level. Consequently, small bundle under stacking is partitioned and passed to a small bundle receiving member 4 then retreats from the guide member 5 and resets to next partitioning position.

    • PURPOSE:To enable continuous stacking work of small bundle of printed notes by providing many sensors in a machine for stacking printed notes and producing small bundle of notes then providing variation in the motion of upper and lower note receivers with correspondence to change of environmental conditions. CONSTITUTION:In a machine for stacking small bundles of printed notes, the upper conveyor 3 of transfer unit 70 is formed by stretching plural endless belts with predetermined gap such that the leading edge section will extend to a space 10 of stacker 71 in front of the lower conveyors 2, 2'. The stacker 71 is comprised of guide members 13, 14 for forming a space section 10 to contain the printed notes by means of the wall faces planted immediately before, in front and to the left/right of an outlet of note at the end of lower conveyors 2, 2', a forked upper note receiver 11 and lower note receiver 12. Small bundle transporter 72 is formed with a gap for inserting the lower note receiver 12. Consequently, the note receivers 11, 12 can function without sacrifice of each member even if there are conveyor 3, guide members 13, 14 transporter 72, etc.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of damaged sheets by providing a paper discharge portion of a printer with a backplate which is capable of advancing and retreating with a pick-up guide in the same direction and is brought into contact with the lateral end surface of stacked sheets when the pick-up guide is advanced in such a manner as to move corresponding to paper size. CONSTITUTION:When a fixed amount of sheets 3 are stackd on the lower pick- up plate 4 for printing operation, a paper loading table 5 is lowered in such a manner that the upper end of the sheets 3 is lower than a pick-up guide 8, and a handle 24 is pushed in to bring a collar 22 into contact with a coupling plate 14. When the handle is further pushed in until a ball 18 is engaged with a concave hole 19, a backplate 25 is brought into contact with the end surface of the sheets 3. The pick-up plate 4 is inserted in the guide 8 at the proper time of falling of the sheets 3. In this case, a falling sheet and a sheet floating due to wind pressure are prevented from slipping off by the contact of the backplate 25. Subsequently, when corners are put up at four corners of the lower pick-up plate 4, and the paper loading table 5 is raised to lift up, the handle 24 is drawn out to be engaged with a concave hole 20. The position of the collar 22 can be adjusted corresponding to paper size by an adjust screw 23.
