    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aluminum film, capable of continuously producing a large amount of aluminum films having a mirror surface and excellent surface smoothness.SOLUTION: In a method for producing an aluminum film, aluminum is electro-deposited on a substrate surface in an electrolyte. The electrolyte comprises, as components thereof: (A) aluminum halide; (B) one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of alkyl pyridinium halide, alkyl imidazolium halide and an urea compound; and (C) 1,10-phenanthroline monohydrate. A mixture ratio of the component (A) and the component (B) is within a range of 1:1-3:1 in molar ratio. The concentration of the 1,10-phenanthroline monohydrate in the electrolyte is controlled to be within a range of 0.05 g/L-7.5 g/L.
