    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inexpensively and easily an information processing system for positioning and displaying a position based on generated control data.
      SOLUTION: This information processing system 1 is equipped with a GPS reception means 54 for receiving a satellite signal from a positioning satellite based on control data, and taking out and outputting positioning data from the received satellite signal; a position information display means 18 for displaying a position shown by the output positioning data; a GPS assist data acquisition/setting means 20 for generating the control data for controlling reception of the satellite signal, and transmitting the generated control data to the GPS reception means 54 to set the data; a USB (Universal Serial Bus) host means 14 for connecting either of the positioning data and the control data transferably between either of the position information display means 18 and the GPS assist data acquisition/setting means 20, and the GPS reception means 54; and a control means 12 for instructing connection to the GPS reception means 54, to the USB host means 14.
