摘要： PURPOSE:To remove efficiently BOD components in the title waste liq. without increasing the amt. of the waste liq. on dilution by preparing an acid for neutralization in the treating stage of the methane fermentation waste liq., and using the acid in the aerobic treatment stage to remove the COD components. CONSTITUTION:When the BOD components in a methane fermentation waste liq. is removed, the BOD components are removed by the aerobic treatment in an aerobic treating vessel 3, then the waste liq. is aerobically nitrated in an aerobic treating vessel 5, and the nitrated waste liq. is returned to the BOD component removing stage in the vessel 3 to regulate the pH of the liq. By such a process, an increase in the running cost in the process wherein mineral acids are always used and a remarkable increase in the initial cost due to the dilution of the waste liq. are controlled and the BOD components are efficiently removed. Besides, the removal of the BOD components proceeds along with the nitration reaction and the BOD components can be removed to a high degree.

Namely, the proportion of the fermentation gas necessary for self-warming can be reduced by heating the hot water in the hot water tank to a specified temp. with excess hot water though the heat exchanger when the excess hot water is available in the vicinity of the setting site of the apparatus.
