A digital output 23 of the counter 24 and a digital output 33 of a counter 30 are sent to a comparator 21, a video signal controller 22 is controlled to rise the brightness of the CRT28 at the point where both are coincide with each other, and the cursor is displayed on the CRT28 simultaneously to the usual image. Here, when performing the spot analysis on the coincident point P of both cursors of X axis, Y axis, the signal of the output 33 is sent to the converter 25 by a selector 23, the electrode voltage controlling signal corresponding accurately to the position of the P point is sent out, and the spot analysis result 29 of the P point is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease the effect of variance in the distribution of a radiated light on a tracking characteristic by combining a triangular prism correcting the intensity distribution of light and the optical system at the post-stage in a specific direction. CONSTITUTION:The laser light outputted from a collimator lens 12 having the elliptic distribution taking the x axis as the minor axis and the y axis as the major axis is corrected with magnification in the x axis direction by the triangular prism 13 and after the light of nearly circular distribution goes straight in the z axis direction, the light is reflected in the y axis direction and irradiated onto a track T running in the x axis direction. Thus, the direction of intensity correction of a light spot S is made coincident with the direction of a pit of the track T to an information recording face of an optical disc, and even if a variation is produced in the intensity distribution of the spot S because of the variation in the correcting amount of the like of the triangular prism 13 or the intensity distribution of the output light of a semiconductor element 11, this variation appears in the lengthwise direction of the track and a nearly constant intensity distribution is obtained in the track width direction affected on the tracking characteristic, allowing nearly to uniform the tracking performance.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a spraying nozzle which prevents solidification of fluid within a nozzle tip even when caking coal is used, having three passageways, i.e., a central passageway for aqueous slurry of coal, a peripheral passageway for heavy oil and an outermost peripheral passageway for steam or nitrogen, and having a mixing chamber at the top for mixing and spraying of a mixture of three fluids. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous slurry 13 consisting of coal particles and water is passed under pressure through a central passageway 1 for raw material slurry and is made to flow out through an outlet 3. A heavy oil 14 which is fed under pressure between a raw material feeding pipe 2 and a heavy oil feeding pipe 15, is passed through a passageway 17 for heavy oil and is extruded from the outlet 3 together with the aqueous slurry 13 so that it may adhere to the surface of coal particles in the slurry in a mixing chamber 18. Steam for spraying 12 which is sent under pressure into a passageway 10 formed by outer surface of the heavy oil feeding pipe 15 and inner surface of a steam pipe 9, is passed through a steam passage groove 5 made at the interface of a semi-conical plane 4 and a conical plane 6 and sprays the aqueous slurry 13 and the heavy oil 14 continuously through an outlet 11 for the mixture.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a tracking offset, by arranging the splitting axis of a two-split photodetector in parallel to a plane containing transmitted light and reflected light separated by a polarizing prism. CONSTITUTION:Diffracted light from a track 6 on an optical disk 5 is separated by the polarizing prism 8 into the transmitted light and reflected light, which are used by an automatic focusing control optical system 9 and a tracking control optical system. The luminous flux passed through the polarizing prism 8 has variation in light intensity distribution in parallel to the plane forming by the transmitted light and reflected light, but has no variation in light intensity distribution at rght angles to the plane. Therefore, the influence of the light intensity variation due to the polarizing prism 8 upon two photodetectors on the surface of the two-split photodetector 11 having the splitting axis parallel to said plane is completely equal and a tracking control signal obtained from a differential amplifier 12 is free of the influence of said light intensity variation.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the detection of meta-stable ions of particular ions, by scanning the intensity of magnetic field while scanning the electric field voltage when said intensity will reach the level corresponding to the peak of the mass number of the ion to be detected. CONSTITUTION:The component of the specimen analyzed by a gas chromatograph 1 will enter through an ion source 2 into an electric field 5 to be focused into a slit 6, then enters into a magnetic field 7 and detected by a collector 9. The electric field 5 and the magnetic field 7 are connected through D/A converters 11, 14 to an operation control section 12 to operate the magnetic field with predetermined period, and when the intensity of the magnetic field will reach the peak level of different mass number of every scan the voltage of the electric field 5 is operated. Consequently the meta-stable ion for the peak of mass number of ion having different mass number in time sharing can be obtained simultaneously within the period where the component material is resolved from the separated column.
