摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely carry a recording sheet to a pressure contact range (fixing range) between a pair of fixing rolls by having air flown between the separated pair of fixing rolls. SOLUTION: This device is composed of a fixing device F which is provided with the pair of fixing rolls Fh1 and Fh2 that are able to be moved between a pressure contact position where they are in a pressurized contact with each other and a separated position where they are separated and a fixing roll moving device by which the fixing roll Fh2 is moved, an air flow forming member 21 that makes air flow in upstream side of the fixing range flow to downstream side of the fixing range between the separated rolls Fh1 and Fh2, a fixing roll movement control means retaining the fixing roll Fh2 in the separated position by having the fixing roll moving device operated when a front end of the recording sheet S is carried in a roll separated position retaining range and an air flow forming member control means by which the air flow forming member 21 is operated when the front end of the recording sheet S is carried in the air flow forming member operating range.
