    • PURPOSE:To select properly a slot by dividing a main memory space into four pages and storing a page assigning signal representing which slot is to be assigned to each page to a register for selecting slot. CONSTITUTION:A memory capacity of a board for expansion loaded to slots 1- 4 is 64KB each and the space of the 64KB is divided similarly into four pages as a CPU5. Further, a page assigning signal representing which slot is to be assigned to each page is stored in advance to the CPU5. Then, a slot selecting logic 8 generates selection signals SL1-SL4 corresponding to address signals A15, A16 and page assigning signals P00-P31. That is, suppose that memory spaces S20, S11, S42, S33 are selected to each of pages 0, 1, 2, 3 of the CPU5, then since the memory space S20 of the page 0 in, e.g., the slot 2 is assigned to the page 0 of the CPU5, the A15, A14 are both at ''0'' and only the SL2 is brought to ''1''.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide a user to a goal without requiring a GPS unit by calculating the distance from a current position to the goal and the azimuth thereof, based on positional information of the current position and the goal delivered from a telephone and notifying them to the user by voice. SOLUTION: Upon the receipt of positional information of a current position and a destination from a user utilizing a DTMF signal of a telephone connected with a public line, the current position acquiring section 50 and the goal acquiring section 51 of a navigation system retrieves longitude latitude data 62 to determine the longitude and latitude of the current position of the user and the destination. A distance azimuth calculating section 52 then calculates the straight line distance to the goal and the azimuth (in units of 45 deg.) thereof from the longitude and latitude of the current position and goal, and notifies them to the user by voice via a telephone. A transportation means determining section 53 makes a decision as to whether a user can walk from the current position to the destination, and if walking is inappropriate, the determining section 53 determines the optimal route, when an electric railcar is utilized from the nearest station to a station near the destination.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it unnecessary to generate a DC voltage source in a least cost routing(LCR) device, and to miniaturize a power circuit by providing a low pass filter, deal number adding means, and controlling means for controlling the switching means. SOLUTION: A control 206 uses the detected result of a dial tone signal and the data of the dial number outputted from a receiver 204, and the detection signal of an on/off hook state at a terminal side from a current detector 205 as input signals. Each control signal generated according to those signals is outputted to a switching circuit 203, a dialer 207, and a power circuit 209 or the like. Then, in adding a dial number, a DC voltage source is supplied from a line side through a low pass filter 210 to a terminal side so that it eliminates the need for providing power source circuit for generating a DC voltage source to be supplied to the terminal side in the LCR device 200.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice output mouse which can cancel the feeling of tedium or fatigue and can be used with pleasant by stimulating the hobby-like emotion of user in voice while keeping the convenience of conventional mouse as it is. SOLUTION: A random number generator or a variable generating part 6 composed of a counter or the like is provided and to this part, an operate signal outputted by a mouse signal processing part 3 is supplied based on a signal corresponding to mouse operation from a button input part 1 or the like. Then, the variable generating part 6 generates a variable signal at random and outputs it to a generated signal identifying part 7, and the generated voice identifying part 7 outputs an instruct signal corresponding to that variable signal to a voice signal generating part 8. Thus, the voice signal generating part 8 reads voice signal data corresponding to that instruct signal out of a voice memory 9 and a voice is generated by outputting the voice signal based on these data to a speaker 10.
