      SOLUTION: In the method and instrument for analyzing optical spectra, the relative position between a wavelength variable optical filter and an optical beam is swept, and the detection signal of the optical beam transmitted by the wavelength variable optical filter and a beam transmission position where the optical beam is transmitted are respectively acquired as quantized data. Further, nominal transmission central wavelength is referred to a second table from the temperature near the wavelength variable optical filter, according to the target transmission central wavelength; the beam transmission position is referred to a first table, according to the nominal transmission central wavelength; the optical intensity of the optical beam is referred to a fourth table, according to the detection signal of the optical beam which is transmitted by the beam transmission position, a transmission loss is referred to a third table, according to the beam transmission position; and thereby, the optical intensity is corrected to the real optical intensity and the real optical intensity for the object transmission central wavelength can be obtained.
