摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the diffusion of secondary charged particles in an irradiation zone which is a bottleneck in application of a pi meson, to execute spot-like and concentrated application of the pi meson to an affected part, to facilitate destruction of a cancerous cell, to prevent destruction of a normal cell and to suppress a radiation exposure. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic poles 4 and 4' of a magnet 2 are opposed to each other and shaped in truncated cones. A patient 3 is set between the two poles, a slit 6 for application of a pi meson is formed in one magnetic pole 4, and an absorber 5 of copper, aluminum or the like for controlling the depth direction of the application of the pi meson is set between the magnetic pole 4 and an affected part. Then, the pi meson (b) is emitted toward the affected part in parallel to a magnetic line of force. The pi meson applied in parallel to the magnetic line of force has little effect, and secondary charged particles generated in a pi meson zone are restricted by a magnetic field being parallel to the applied pi meson, so that diffusion thereof be suppressed. They are taken in by the magnetic field and an absorption peak is made sharp.

Specified quantities of above-mentioned RI solution and physiological saline solution are injected into a dilution vial 4 to prepare diluted RI solution. Then, the strength of radioactivity of the solution in the dilution vial 4 is measured by a radioactive rays detector 15, and marking chemicals is received in a marking vial 10. The diluted RI solution in the dilution vial 4 is automatically poured into the marking vial 10 receiving the chemicals to prepare the marking chemicals. The agitating action is carried out immediately after specified quantities of the diluted RI solution is poured into one making vial 10, and then, the diluted RI solution is poured into next marking vial 10.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable decrement of an operator's exposure dose by directing an opening of a vial shield toward a slantingly upward direction opposite to the direction of the operator after agitation of a solution in a labelled vial. CONSTITUTION:A labelled vial 10 is housed in a lead vial shield 11 and is fixed to a cartridge. Substance contained in the vial 10 is agitated by the vial rotation driven by a rotator and centered at a rotation axis 20. After completion of agitation, a shield 11 housing the vial 10 stops its rotation with a direction of its opening 22 facing toward a slantingly upward direction opposite to an operator. Consequently, a radiation leaking from the opening 22 proceeds along the arrow mark A, and almost all of the radiation collides with a structural box body 21 of a diffusing device and attenuates, and therefore a very few part of the radiation leaks to an operator side. In this way, an operator's exposure dose can be diminished.
