    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately specify the origin position of a telescope and at the same time accurately measure delay time in a range-finding station by performing range finding to n targets on the ground whose three-dimensional coordinates are known using a telescope and using n simultaneous observation equations of a range-finding value up to each target on the ground being shown by the specific expression. SOLUTION: A laser beam that is emitted from a laser light source 2a is branched to telescope origin positions OX, OY, and OZ and a light reception means 2c via a half mirror 2b and is applied to either of ground targets T1-T5 (three-dimensional coordinates TX1, TY1, TZ1-TX5, TY5, and TZ5) according to the direction of a telescope of a telescope 1. A laser beam that is reflected by either of the ground targets T1-T5 returns to the origin position of the telescope 1 again and reaches a light reception means 2e in a ranging station 2. Then, a simultaneous observation equation based on an expression is established for each of range-finding values R1-R5 of the ground targets T1-T5 and the three-dimensional coordinates OX, OY, and OZ of the telescope and the maximum likelihood value of the station delay time are obtained by the least square method of each solution.
