CONSTITUTION:When a gap d1 between an engaging body 5 of a cage 1 in the closed state and a to-be-engaged body 6 at the landing place 2 is to be measured, a measuring point is set and the size of the gap d1 at the measuring point is presumed, for example, based on the design data. A through gage 10 fit for the size is selected. A rammer 15 is mounted to the selected through gage 10. A measuring element 12 with the rammer is inserted into the gap d1. At this time, if the gage 10 is pulled down while the rammer 15 is being engaged with one side edge of the engaging body 5, it becomes easy to position the through gage 10 in the gap d1 and the measuring work is stabilized. In this manner, the gap d1 defined by the engaging body 5 of the closed cage 1 and the to-be-engaged body 6 at the landing side 2 is able to be measured.

    • PURPOSE:To measure the geometrical center of an eyeglass correctly by providing an operating means for operating the geometrical central distance of the eyeglass from the measuring data obtained by a measuring means and the lens shape data obtained by a shape data input means. CONSTITUTION:The frame shape data is input and stored from a lens frame shape measuring device 38 into a memory 40 which also stores a constant to convert the counting number of a counter circuit 37 to a distance. In this state, when the distance of circular measuring fillers is enlarged, an ON signal of a microswitch 35 is input to an operation controlling circuit 36. Moreover, a pulse output from a rotary encoder 33 is input to the circuit 36 through the circuit 37 when the switch 35 is turned ON. In the circuit 36, the counting number input from the circuit 37 is multiplied by the constant from the memory 40, so that the moving distance of the circular measuring fillers is obtained. Further, the frame shape data stored in the memory 40 is operated in the circuit 36. The calculated frame size is added to the distance between the circular measuring fillers, whereby the geometrical central position is obtained.

CONSTITUTION:Switches 3A and 3B are fitted on the upper side 2c of a box body 2 so that the heights from a base part 2a to the fore ends of contact needles 3a are equal, and indicator lamps 4A and 4B are fitted on the right end of the body. When a parallelism setting plane 12a of a substance 12 to be set parallel is set to be parallel to a parallelism setting reference plane 10 such as a light source plane, first a parallelism setting tool 1 is fixed on the reference plane 10. Then, the substance 12 is fixed on a table which can be adjusted finely in the directions X, Y and theta, and the parallelism setting plane 12a is opposed to the contact needles 3a by a drive along the axis X. By a drive along the axis Y, subsequently, the substance 12 is made to approach the parallelism setting tool 1 gradually and the parallelism setting plane 12a is brought into contact with the respective contact needles 3a of the switches 3A and 3B. Then the indicator lamp connected to the switch nearer to the plane is lighted. Accordingly, the substance is made to approach again by fine adjustment along the axis and this operation is repeated until the indicator lamp 4A and 4B are light simultaneously.

CONSTITUTION: The interval measuring instrument has a post 1 with a leg part 2, and the post 1 made of a hollow body is connected to a rail 4 that functions as the guide of a slider 14. The slider 14 includes a slider part that is formed as an adjustment mechanism 5 and a slider part that functions as a measurement part 6. The edge of the measurement member 6 is formed as spherical calipers 12, and the measurement member 6 has a shaft 11 that can be fixed by screws 10. A fine-adjustment device 39 enables the measurement member 6 to move slightly for the adjustment mechanism 5. In this case, a screw 48 functions as a switching device and operates either a control device 19 for executing measurement at a specific measurement pressure or a fine- adjustment device 39 for executing marking-off operation. In the case of the marking-off, the calipers 12 are changed to a marking-off needle.
