摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a valve system in which a cam shaft cannot be pulled out unless a tappet is not taken out in an internal combustion engine in which a cylinder block can be detachably connected to a crank case. CONSTITUTION:An inlet can 4 and an exhaust cam 42 are integratedly formed in a cam shaft 29, and a decompression cam 43 is disposed adjacently in the front of the exhaust cam and a rib 44 is formed in the back of the inlet cam and further a cylindrical surface part 46 having an identical diameter to the peripheral surface of a ball bearing 45 for supporting the front part of the cam shaft and a larger diameter than the diameter of the base of the cam shaft is formed and behind that, a locking step part 47 is formed and at the same time a notch part in which the top of the respective can lobes of the inlet cat the exhaust cam and the decompression cam can be pulled out is formed in the locking step part 47 as capable of being pulled out forward the cam shaft. However, when a tappet 50 is not taken out but at the same time the cam, shaft is pulled out, the rib 44 is locked to the tappet fallen off in the circumference of the base of the inlet cam, and the inlet cam, the exhaust cam and the decompression cam are locked to the locking step part 47, it is made unfeasible to pull out the cam shaft.

摘要： PURPOSE:To ensure decomp. operation and decomp. releasing operation even when this valve system cam shaft is used in an engine of such specification as a gap between a centrifugal weight and an exhaust valve-cam is dimensionally increased, by rotationally interlocking a decomp. pin with the centrifugal weight so as to perform decomp. operation and decomp. releasing operation. CONSTITUTION:A shaft part 1, cam parts 2, 25, and a cam gear part 3 are integrally formed by synthetic resin into a valve system-cam shaft body 23. A centrifugal weight 8 is accomodated in a recessed part 6 provided on the end face 5 on the opposite side to the cam parts of the cam bear part 3. A decomp. pin 42 is rotationally passed through the cam gear part 3 in parallel with the shaft part 1, and its base end is connected to the centrifugal weight 8. When the centrifugal weight 8 is in decomp. position 36, a decomp. surface 39 abuts against the underside of an exhaust valve--tappet 31, and when the centrifugal weight 8 is in decomp. releasing position 38, the decomp. pin 42 is rotationally interlocked with the centrifugal weight 8 so that a decomp. releasing surface 40 faces to the underside of the exhaust valve-tappet 31.
