A projecting part 29a to fix the baseplate 18 to the opening part 29 is formed so as to narrow the opening area of the opening part 29, and a locking means 31 to be locked on the projecting part 29a is arranged in a position corresponding to the projecting part 29a of the baseplate 18. The baseplate 18 is constituted so as to be temporarily fastened by locking the locking means 31 on the projecting part 29a.

A positioning clip 35 is fitted into a specified position corresponding to the positioning part 29 on the upper edge side of the window glass. The window glass is fitted into the flange part 25, and the positioning clip 35 is engaged with the positioning part 29. In such positioning structure, locking holes H are formed in the positioning part 29 so as to be able to insert and lock locking leg pieces 38 formed at the positioning clip 35.

CONSTITUTION: A rear wiper control unit 7 consists of both drive and control circuits 10 and 11 of a rear wiper. A power supply line 40 is connected to a power source line 15 via a normally-on circuit 41a of a power relay and also to terminal 41b of this power relay, respectively. Another terminal 41c of the power relay is connected to the gland via a detecting switch 8 detecting the opening or closing of hatch glass, and also to a terminal 41d of a normally-off circuit of the power relay, respectively. In addition, a terminal 41e of the normally-off circuit is connected to a rear wiper continuous operating switch 25 of an operating circuit 14 via a first diode 42, and also to a rear wiper intermittent operating switch 24 via a second diode 43, thereby forming a holding circuit consisting of both these normally-off circuits 41d, 41e and both the first and second diodes 42 and 43 as well as each of these operating switches 24 and 25.

CONSTITUTION: In a coupe type automobile 10, a rear window 16 is closably supported by a hinge 14 provided at the rear end part of a roof panel 12. This rear window 16 is held in the opened state by a lock link 46 and a lock handle 48. A head clearance in a cabin corresponding to the rear window 16 is therefore enlarged. When the rear window 16 is opened, a cover 68 is pulled out interlockingly with the rear window 16, and a clearance between the rear window 16 and a body 72 is covered with the cover 68. An occupant in a rear seat is not therefore exposed to an air current flowing at the side of the automobile 10 during the travel of the automobile.

As the inside and outside projected parts 5, 6 play a role of a dam to prevent leakage of the adhesive 7, it is possible to set width to adhere the rear window glass small and to extend a rear field of view from the rear window larger.
