    • PURPOSE: To prevent noises, etc., by bringing one single pole into sufficient proximity to a position where recording or reproducing to or from a recording medium is possible and arranging the other single pole apart >=4 times the min. magnetization inversion spacing from the recording medium. CONSTITUTION: The magnetic recording layer R1 of the recording medium R is formed with magnetization M in a perpendicular direction via the single pole 11 and recording is executable by feeding recording signals to a coil 14 of a magnetic head 10 at the time of recording a desired information on the recording medium R. At this time, the single pole 21 of the magnetic head 20 is arranged in the position apart >=4 times the min. magnetization inversion spacing from the surface of the recording medium R when the recording signals are sent to the coil 24 of the magnetic head 20 as well and, therefore, magnetism does not act on the magnetization recording layer R1 of the recording medium R but the recording signals are preferably sent to the coil 14 alone.

    • PURPOSE: To prevent a reproducing output from being lowered by providing a notched part on a part of a magnetic core constituting an erase head chip. CONSTITUTION: A floppy head is constituted of a recording/reproducing head chip 1 having a recording/reproducing gap g1 and an erase head chip 2 having an erase gap g2 , and they are joined and integrated through a non-magnetic material 3. The recording/reproducing head chip 1 is constituted of a central core 4, a side core 5 gap joined to the side surface of the core 4 and a back core 6 touching to the leg parts of the central core 4 and the side core 5 and constituting a closed magnetic path. Then, in the floppy head, the notched part 9 is provided on a part of the side core 8 constituting the erase head chip 2. The notched part 9 is provided so that a part of the side core 8 in contact with the back core 6 is notched partially, since a magnetic core cross-sectional area in the notched part becomes smaller than other parts, saturation occurs in the notched part even when an erase current flows much through the erase head chip 2. Thus, the reproducing output is suppressed.

    • PURPOSE:To remove the magnetization generated in a magnetic head for reproducing and to avert moire defects by passing an erasing current to a magnetic head for erasing when a composite type magnetic head does not come into contact with a magnetic recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic fluxes are picked up by tracing the tracks of the magnetic recording medium 10 and reproduced output is obtd. in the same manner as for the ordinary magnetic head for reproduction in a reproducing state when the composite type magnetic head 1 comes into contact with the medium 10. However, the head 1 is formed by integrating the magnetic head 1A for reproducing and the magnetic head 1B for erasing with one magnetic head and, therefore, the erasing current is supplied via a coil 13 to the erasing head in the blanking state when a rotary drum 15 does not come into contact with the medium 10. As a result, the generated magnetization is removed by this erasing current even if the magnetization is generated. The generation of the moire defects appearing as noises in reproduced signals does not, therefore, arise and the sufficient reproduced output is obtd.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the characteristics and productivity of a magnetic head by providing a nonmagnetic reinforcing member with a projecting part which extends in the depth direction of magnetic gaps by projecting in the track width direction of the magnetic gaps in a magnetic head chip holding hole. CONSTITUTION:This magnetic head is formed of first and second magnetic head chips 1, 2 and the nonmagnetic reinforcing member 4 having the magnetic head chip holding hole 3 facing medium-sliding surfaces 1a, 1b. The first, second magnetic head chips 1, 2 in the state of magnetically insulating the chips are so fitted into the holding hole 3 that the respective magnetic gaps g1, g2 face the medium-sliding surfaces. The chips are fixed by glass 6. The nonmagnetic reinforcing part 4 is provided with the projecting part 19 which projects in the track width direction of the magnetic gaps g1, g2 in the holding hole 3 and extends in the depth direction of the magnetic gaps g1, g2. The first and second head chips 1, 2 are so disposed as to hold the projecting part 19 therebetween. These chips are magnetically insulated. The degradation in the electromagnetic conversion characteristics of the magnetic head and the generation of production defects are obviated.

    • PURPOSE:To unnecessitate a head moving mechanism and to miniaturize the mechanism by arranging a magnetic detection element on the head surface opposed to a magnetic data recording surface in an array state over the magnetic data recording range. CONSTITUTION:A head driving mechanism 11 is provided with an actuator 13 on which a piezoelectric element is laminated to slide and move a carridge 3 in the direction of the arrow A-B against a spring 12 for bias. At the time of processing magnetic information, a magnetic stripe 23 being a record carrier in a bankbook 20 is pressed on the magnetic head 2 of a magnetic data processor 1 by a pressing member 21 and a spring 22. On the head surface of the magnetic head 2, a magnetic detection element reproducing magnetic data as an electric signal and a magnetic circuit element converting the electric signal into a magnetic field are arranged in an array state over the recording range of the magnetic data recorded on the magnetic recording surface of the magnetic stripe 23. Therefore, the recorded magnetic data can be reproduced as the electric signal without moving the head opposite to the magnetic data recording surface.
