    • PURPOSE:To realize an input of an accurate position, by supplying the coordinate through a display after magnifying and displaying a desired position. CONSTITUTION:The indication of a light pen 9 is sent to a control circuit 2 and a vector plane controlling circuit 3. The circuit 2 calculates the start address on a picture memory 1 corresponding to the display indicated position as well as the size of a magnified diagram after calculating the address on the memory 1, transmits a process code to a magnifying/reducing circuit 5, and reads the data from the memory 1. On the other hand, the circuit 3 calculates the address on a display 10 and writes the cursor into a vector plane memory 7. The magnified diagram thus obtained is stored in a dot plane memory 6 and also displayed on the display 10.

    • PURPOSE: To increase the efficiency of picture processing, by recognizing one point on a graphic form as designated, when the point designated with an input pen of a tablet is within a prescribed range.
      CONSTITUTION: When as input pen is touched to a tablet 2 and moved, a cursor on a display is moved corresponding to the touched position. When the input pen is further depressed with a cursor coincided with a graphic form to designate one point on a graph 4, the position of the input pen is inputted to a computer. Since the cursor position is very difficult to correctly coincide with the graphic form, if the designated point is within a desired range 4, it is recognized that the one point on the graphic form 4 designated.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate reading, by a method wherein a reading device for a recording paper for a multipen recorder consists of a transparent plate having rectangular holes whose sides are equal to the displacement width of the pen point and the longitudinal width of the recording paper. CONSTITUTION:In a reading device for a recording paper for a recorder having, for example, 4 pens, rectangular holes 6a and 6b, having a width being equal to a displacement distance of pen points and a length being equal to the width of the recording paper, are formed in transparent base board 5, and a distance between the holes 6a and 6b is also equalized to the displacement distance (a) of the pen point. Graduations, corresponding to the graduations in the direction of the width of the recording paper, are marked along the holes 6a and 6b. This facilitates readings of the recording paper.

    • PURPOSE:To easily compare an original graphic form and an inputted graphic form with each other, by providing a dot pattern generating device which converts the original form to dot pattern information, a graphic display device, and a facsimile device which inputs position information on the display screen to a controlling processing device. CONSTITUTION:A facsimile device 2 decomposes an original graphic form 1 to dots and sends the dot pattern signal indicating the original graphic form 1 to a reading part 4 for facsimile data of a controlling processing device 3. This reading part 4 data and stores it in a file 5. The dot pattern of this file 5 is converted to a dot pattern for graphic display by a processing part 6 of dot pattern data. The output of the processing part 6 is stored in a file 7, and a dot pattern display control part 8 displayes the same graphic form as a original graphic form 1 on the screen of a graphic display device 12 on a basis of the dot pattern of the file 7. Thus, the original graphic form and an inputted graphic form are compared with each other easily.

The mat 6 is made as transparent as the beneath characters are seen and it is made of a material having suitable elasticity as can as the description in papers and stamping are easily made. A tablet device produces magnetic field by flowing a pulse current to a coil provided in an input pen 7. Since an electromagnetic induction system of noncontact type to detect said magnetic field by a sensing line loop 2 of a character position detection is used, no effect is given to the character input function even the mat 6 is placed on the character board 1.
