摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain substantial air-tightness even in the rotating state by insert- molding a ring member consisting of a metallic material such as stainless steel or plastic material such as polycarbonate into an elastic sealing member. CONSTITUTION:The elastic sealing member 109 is pressed and disposed between a case band 110 and a rotary bezel 107 and provides commonly the effect of preventing the intrusion of dust, dirt, moisture, etc. and the effect of applying adequate rotating torque to the bezel 107. The ring member consisting of the metallic material such as, for example, stainless steel, iron or copper and the plastic material such as polycarbonate or polyacetal is thereupon sealed by insert-molding into the member 109. The partial elongation of the member 109 which is liable to be generated in the rotating state of the bezel 107 is prevented by the rigidity of the ring member as such ring member is inserted into the above-mentioned sealing member. The deterioration in the air-tightness is thus obviated even while the bezel 107 is kept rotated.

摘要： PURPOSE:To secure sufficient airtightness and to obtain stable rotary torque, by compositely molding an elastic seal member from a plurality of elastic rubber materials different in hardness and constituting the cross-sectional structure from two or more rubber layers different in hardness. CONSTITUTION:An elastic seal member 109 consists of an upper half comprising a soft rubber member 201 and a lower half comprising a hard rubber member 202 and the boundary surfaces of soft rubber and hard rubber are bonded with sufficient strength by composite molding. Therefore, the partial thinning of the elastic seal member having been easy to generate in conventional technique, in such a state that a rotating bezel rotated, can be prevented by enhancing the hardness of the hard rubber member 202 and sufficiently securing the rigidity of the elastic seal member in the peripheral direction thereof and the lowering in airtightness is prevented even in such a state that the rotating bezel is rotating. Further, stable rotary torque can be obtained by sufficiently lowering the hardness of the upper soft rubber member 201 and securing a clamping flange corresponding to the lowering in hardness.

摘要： PURPOSE:To grasp immediately a state of a tide by one timepiece by selecting and display one of a combination of a day of week, a data of the cold calendar and a tidal current character, or a combination of the day of week and the tidal current character. CONSTITUTION:A data of the old calendar and a character 6d for showing a magnitude of a tide corresponding to its data are provided on a day plate 6, large and small week displaying characters 7b, 7c are provided alternately on a week plate 7 in accordance with a date display peeping notch 7d of the day plate 6 and a window 5a which can display simultaneously one of the characters 7b and at least a portion of two days or more of the characters 6d is provided on a dial 5. Also, when a stem 1 is at a drawn-out position, displays of the day plate 6 and the week plate 7 are switched independently by its forward and backward rotations. In this way, either one of a combination of a day of week, a date of the old calendar and a tidal current character, or a combination of the day of week and the tidal current character can be selected and displayed.
