    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce scattered light at an end surface of a dichroic mirror in an optical writing apparatus using a tabular dichroic mirror. SOLUTION: The dichroic mirror 4 is formed in an L shape by joining tabular members 41, 42 by an adhesive 44. The tabular member 41 comprises attaching a first optical selection film 412 to one surface of a first transparent member 411 and forming an antireflection film 413 on the other surface. Similarly, the tabular member 42 comprises forming a second optical selection film 422 on one surface of a second transparent member 421 and forming an antireflection film 423 on the other surface. Light shielding films 4141, 4142, 4241, 4242 are formed on the end surfaces of the tabular members 41, 42.
