摘要： PURPOSE:To send an image receiving medium such as developing paper into a pressure device only when the size of a mask negative plate matches the size of the image receiving medium by providing a discrimination device which discriminates the size of the mask negative plate and the image receiving medium where a color image is recorded. CONSTITUTION:A sensor S1 detects the size of the mask negative plate 15 which is sent from a mask negative plate formation part to an exposure device. Developing paper of different size is stored in two kinds of cassettes 91 and 92 and a microswitch 95 or 96 detects the front projection P of one cassette to detect the size of developing paper. A comparing circuit 215 compares a mask negative plate size signal from a mask negative plate discrimination circuit 213 with the detection signal of a developing paper decision circuit 214. When the both match each other, a switching device 216 such as a clutch is put in operation and a motor drive 217 is driven to send developing paper of size matching the mask negative plate in a pressure developing device. Consequently, the image receiving medium such as developing paper of size matching the size of the mask negative plate can be sent in the pressure developing device.

Copying can be performed speedily without stopping the image sheet 1 at the time of exposure. Because of the rod-like light source 3, light intensity is uniform and hence a high quality image is obtained; additionally cost is reduced because a lens is not used.
