    • PURPOSE:To send an image receiving medium such as developing paper into a pressure device only when the size of a mask negative plate matches the size of the image receiving medium by providing a discrimination device which discriminates the size of the mask negative plate and the image receiving medium where a color image is recorded. CONSTITUTION:A sensor S1 detects the size of the mask negative plate 15 which is sent from a mask negative plate formation part to an exposure device. Developing paper of different size is stored in two kinds of cassettes 91 and 92 and a microswitch 95 or 96 detects the front projection P of one cassette to detect the size of developing paper. A comparing circuit 215 compares a mask negative plate size signal from a mask negative plate discrimination circuit 213 with the detection signal of a developing paper decision circuit 214. When the both match each other, a switching device 216 such as a clutch is put in operation and a motor drive 217 is driven to send developing paper of size matching the mask negative plate in a pressure developing device. Consequently, the image receiving medium such as developing paper of size matching the size of the mask negative plate can be sent in the pressure developing device.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce positioning errors due to poor accuracy of a mask master plate itself and to obtain a high-quality color picture by using color original mask plate with the aid of positioning marks provided respectively on both side of the master mask plate to align the master mask boards having various colors. CONSTITUTION:By positioning sensors 39a to 39f and a master mask plate moving means, each master mask plate 22 is positioned to prescribed relative position with respect to a photosensitive recording medium. The positioning references 44a and 44b provided on both sides, that is, one and the opposite side of the master mask plate 22 (i.e., its front and rear ends) are read out by sensors 39b, 39c, 39e and 39f. Based on sensor outputs, by a control means positions the master mask plate is controlled so as to be positioned to the prescribed position. Consequently each master mask plate 22 can be aligned at the center of the plate, that is, in the midst of the positioning marks on both sides, Thereby, if the master mask plate has slight inaccuracy, the dislocation errors due to the inaccuracy can be reduced and color slippage thereby can be minimized.

At the time of recording, in the opening part of the frame 10, the image forming sheet 1 coated with capsule for a specified coloring is wrapped round the cylinder 2 through an original and is exposed; in a developing means 5, the sheet 1 is then press-bonded and transferred onto a developing sheet 4, thereby fixing and developing the sheet 1. Copying can be performed speedily without stopping the image sheet 1 at the time of exposure. Because of the rod-like light source 3, light intensity is uniform and hence a high quality image is obtained; additionally cost is reduced because a lens is not used.

Thus, regardless of the occupation rate and position of the non-image part of the copying original 5 and whether the transfer region is at the end or in the center, the uniform density image is always obtained.

CONSTITUTION:An exposure plane is composed of the upper surface of a photosensitive material placing table 201 placing and fixing the photosensitive material and the upper surface of an original platen capable of fixing the end of the original film on its one side. The vacuum contact suction means 204 for a squeeze area, and the squeeze means 276 are provided. The means 276 overlaps the photosensitive material and the original, covers a transparent cover sheet thereon, air-squeezes the sheet surface on the side fixing the end of the original film through the sheet. Thus, an exposing device is made compact, adhesion developing when original film of any resolution is multiexposed on photosensitive material, positioning, and original replacement can be carried out speedily and surely. Consequently, an image can be formed quickly on a colored photosensitive material without damaging an original and photosensitive material, and an original can be inspected correctly and appropriately.
