    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve access to the operating side of an extruding machine, to reduce the idle time by advancing at a high speed at the time of abutting a container to a die with a billet held between the die and the extruding stem and to obtain products with no blister by deaerating into vacuum the residual air within the container until the completion of upset. SOLUTION: End alignment and length measurement of the billet 29 are executed with a billet pusher after transferring the billet 29 to a billet carrier side in the position of the working under-floor. And the billet 29 is transferred and fed to the billet charging hole positioning on the working floor with the billet 29 held. A billet loader is retreated up to the position of the working under-floor releasing the clamping of the billet 29 after successively holding the billet 29 between the die 72 and the container 14. Next, the residual air within the container 14 is completely discharged with the deaerating means arranged in the extruding stem side of the container 14 until the upset of the billet 29 is completed advancing the container 14 at the high speed until abutting to the die 72, and the extruding stem is advanced after abutting.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in quality and yield of an extruded shape by pressing a seal packing arranged to a container side end face, abutting a seal packing on an extruding stem side and evacuating air in a container in a state with a seal block closed. SOLUTION: After bisected seal blocks 40R are closed by driving a cylinder, while a pressing means is synchronized by introducing air in a pressing cylinder, a seal packing 44 is pushed on the end face of a projecting part 80 at the same time as the seal packing is abutted on an extrusion stem 14, the part between the stem 14 and a container is sealed. By actuating an evacuation device and energizing a solenoid valve, evacuation is conducted in a state the container inside and a vacuum tank are communicated. The enclosed air at the extrusion stem 14 side passes a vent hole arranged to part of the besected seal block 40 and is suction-discharged to the vacuum tank through the solenoid valve further a piping. Thus, evacuation is quickly conducted from the vent hole of the seal block 40.

CONSTITUTION: In a side end face of extruding stem 14 of the cylindrical container 1 for making charged billet 13, two pieces devided type seal block is provided in free-opening and closing to the rectangular direction to the axial direction of the container 1 and when the seal block is closed, the seal block is closely made contact with outer circumferencial face of the extruding stem and container end face. Further, vacuum vent 45 is provided to the seal block and further, a fix dummy block 70 having an inside cooling function is provided on a tip of the extruding stem 14. Thereby, air in the container 1 is surely and easily deaerated with sealing the space between the container 1 and the extruding stem.

    • PURPOSE: To restrain the metal flow from the outer peripheral part to the center part at the rear end part of a billet and to prevent the blister in a die material by removing the air between an extrusion container and the billet till the time before starting the extrusion from a gap between the end surface of the die and the side end surface of the die of the container mutually brought into no contact with each other. CONSTITUTION: The billet 13 cooling the rear end part thereof to a desired temp. is pushed with an extrusion stem 14 to push the billet 13 against the die 3, and then, the billet 13 is squeezed and the air between the container 1 and the billet 13 is compressed. This compressed air must be sucked and removed from the front end of the container 1 before extruding the billet 13 from the die. At this time, the sealing is executed with a seal block 40 arranged to the end surface of the container at the stem 14 side so as to be freely opened/ closed in the axial direction of the container 1. Successively, the interval between a sealing being freely shifted in the axial direction by engaging an outer ring 10 fitted to the tip part of the container and the end surface at the container side, is sealed to suck the air.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent extruding material to be formed without residual gas by forming a prescribe number of vent groove with a suitable number of working machines matched to its extruding condition at the time of forming the vent groove for extruding billet. CONSTITUTION:This extruding billet groove forming device 5 is installed with plural working machines having pressing rollers projecting toward an opening freely attachable and detachable on a mounting plate 4 having the opening almost same as a cross-sectional area of billet 1 at the central part. This working machine 7 is provided with a regulating means 8 to move toward the mounting plate's opening. Further, the working machine 7 consists of a base plate 12, a pair of side plates 11 installed on it, a pressing roller 9 whose rotary shaft 10 is supported with this side plates 11. In such a way, because plural working machines can be freely mounted and detached against the mounting plate, the vent groove suitable for the extruding condition can be provided, and the gas is not involved into the billet.
