摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge a light emitting region in a self luminous type light emitting device.SOLUTION: A display device includes: a wiring pattern formed on a substrate; a first insulator film which is laminated on the wiring pattern, the first insulator where a contact hole is formed in a vertical direction at a predetermined position; a lower electrode formed on the first insulator and including a contact part which penetrates into the contact hole and electrically connects with the wiring pattern; a light emitting layer formed on the lower electrode; an upper electrode formed on the light emitting layer; a light emitting region definition member which defines a light emitting region, in which the light emitting layer is sandwiched by the lower electrode and the upper electrode, as a region including the contact part; and a color filter which is disposed at a region on the substrate which corresponds to at least the contact part.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device to which a TFT arrangement is applied in which a margin for an alignment in forming SOI layers is wide, and deterioration of an aperture ratio is suppressed in the displacement when a TFT substrate and a counter substrate are bonded to each other.SOLUTION: A plurality of TFTs that control sub-pixels are arranged in a manner so as to surround an intersection part of a scanning line and a signal line so that the distance between regions where TFTs are arranged is expanded. Since the distance between regions where the TFTs are arranged is expanded, as compared with the conventional arrangement in which TFTs are arranged at constant intervals in a display part, formation of the TFTs over a joint between adjacent SOI layers can be avoided.
