As the cold air discharged from the discharge port 35 has a comparatively low temperature, and the ozone generator 70 is installed in this atmospheric temperature, ozone is efficiently generated. As the ultraviolet ray of short wavelength of 200 nm or less is partially absorbed by the surface of the glass tube 14, and the ultraviolet ray of 200 nm or more is irradiated to the external without being absorbed, ozone is not released with high concentration, and the intensity of ultraviolet ray of 200 nm or more is increased, whereby the deodorization and bacteria elimination can be effectively performed in safety by utilizing ozone, ozone decomposition product and ultraviolet ray.
