    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object tracing method and a device for which an impedance measurement is utilized. SOLUTION: An impedance calibration method has a step in which at least the first, second and third electrodes (48) are combined to the surface of the body of a subject (26) at each place. The first electric current which flows between the first body surface electrode and the second body surface electrode through the body is measured. At the same time, the second electric current which flows between the first body surface electrode and the third body surface electrode through the body is measured. From the first and second electric currents, a contact modulus indicating an impedance between at least one of the body surface electrodes and the surface of the body is introduced. A method in which the position of a probe is detected, and a tissue contact is detected based on a relationship between electric current phases from the probe to the body surface electrode is provided as well.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin electric impedance model for expressing a skin electric impedance response of high frequency band. SOLUTION: The skin electric impedance model is estimated by passing a fixed electric current through both ends of the body of a measuring object for measuring an electric pressure between the body ends, and obtained from the data measured by using of a three-electrode method at the body of the measuring object. The skin electric impedance model has the first area having the first CPE connected in parallel with the first resistance, the second area having the second CPE connected in parallel with the second resistance and connected in series with the third resistance, and the third area having the third CPE connected in parallel with the fourth resistance, and the second and the third areas are connected in parallel and they are connected in series to the first area through the fifth resistance. Thereby, the living body impedance is expressed from some hundreds kHz to some MHz band area very well, and applies for measuring body components with EIT and a body fat scale and various clinical fields.
