摘要： PURPOSE:To suppress evaporation of liquid refrigerant by suppressing heating due to eddy current of a container, containing a superconducting coil and the refrigerant through a simple structure. CONSTITUTION:A superconducting coil 1, a container 4 containing the superconducting coil 1 and refrigerant, and a metallic member (a thermally insulating shield board 6 or an enclosure 5) where the superconducting coil 1 is arranged in the container 4 or on the outside of the container 4 vibrate relatively to induce eddy current in the container 4 thus producing heat. Eddy current path means 15, 16 composed of conductive material having higher conductivity than the compositional member of the container 4 are disposed on the outer face of the container 4 in order to pass the eddy current with low heat generation thus suppressing the heating of the container 4.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate the temperature distribution, of current conductor apt to be caused by the difference in the flow rate of cooling gas for making the current conductor constantly discharge the specified conductive function. CONSTITUTION:In the title gas cooling type current lead composed of multiple electrically insulated current conductors 2a, 2b passing through a piping (wiring main body) 1 forming a flow channel 4 of the cooling gas, the current conductors 2a, 2b are thermally connected to each other by thermal conductive electric insulator pieces 5 at multiple positions isolated in the axial direction. Since the current conductors 2a, 2b passing through the gas flow channel 4 to be arranged therein are thermally connected to each other by the insulator pieces 5, even if the temperature distribution is caused in the current conductors 2a, 2b by the difference in the flow rate of the cooling gas, the difference in the temperature is entirely made up in the long direction. In other words, the temperatures in the peripheral parts of respective current conductors 2a, 2b as well as the gas flow channel 4 are equalized both in the long and sectional directions so that the difference in the flow channel resistance may be made up thereby enabling the gas flow to be almost uniform.
