    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the need to gather data by a person at the automatic vending machine and to gather the data in an optional time zone by receiving management information by a telephone-set side radio transmitter receiver and sending it to a management center side through a public telephone line. CONSTITUTION:On the side of the management center 1, the telephone-set side radio transmitter receiver 8 is actuated through the public telephone line 4 on the basis of a discrimination number given to each automatic vending machine 9 to sends an actuation signal to a single or plural automatic-vending-machine side radio transmitter receivers 10. A spread spectrum system is employed as a data modulation system between radio transmission and reception. Consequently, a signal is sent from the side of the management center 1 to the telephone-set side ratio transmitter receiver 8 through the telephone line, i.e., on a wire basis so as to obtain the information of the automatic vending machine 9. Then a radio communication is made between this telephone-set side radio transmitter receiver 8 and automatic-vending-machine side radio transmitter receivers 10... and the data of the sides of the automatic vending machines 9... are inputted to the management center 1 through the automatic-vending- machine side radio transmitter receivers 10..., the telephone-set side radio transmitter receiver 8, and the telephone line 4.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter that can surely execute a safety operation. SOLUTION: A control unit 15 measures a temperature T of gas G using a temperature sensor 11 mounted on a meter itself, an installation environment for a gas meter 10 is judged to be brought into a dangerous high-temperature environment in use of the gas G, for example, because of generation of abnormality such as a fire disaster, when the temperature T comes to an upper limit temperature TM (for example, TM=70°C) or more (T≥TM), and the safety operation is executed therein. An abnormality such as fire disaster is detected by the control unit 15 autonomously, different from a conventional gas meter in which an equipment (for example, an automatic fire alarm) for detecting the abnormality in the installation environment is arranged separately from the gas meter 10, and in which the operation for the safety is executed in response to notification by the external equipment, and the operation for the safety is executed by the judgement of the control unit itself. A problem that the gas meter 10 is brought into the condition where the operation for the safety gets execution-incapable caused by a trouble in the automatic fire alarm and communication disturbance can be evaded thereby.
