A water temperature measuring means for the flushing water to the toilet is installed at one or more positions in the water supplying passageway between the water supply pipe and a water ejecting part of the toilet stool or in the toilet stool and fouled sewage pipe 85, or an atmosphere measuring means is installed in the vicinity of the toilet stool. In this way, flushing water and its quantity having a silver ion concentration corresponding to the water temperature of the flushing water or stagnating water and atmospheric temperature can be supplied.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily detect the time for exchange of electrodes by the consumption of the electrodes by providing the above device with electrode state detecting means for detecting the abnormality of the electrodes in accordance with the energizing state to the electrodes. SOLUTION: This toilet bowl sterilization device has at least a pair of the electrodes 5 which are disposed to face each other in parallel apart a prescribed spacing and consists of metals (silver, etc.), at least either of which elutes sterilizable metal ions (silver ions, etc.). The abnormality is detected by passing constant current to the electrodes 5 and monitoring the voltage between the electrodes 5. Namely, the voltage is monitored and is kept stored in a control means 1 at every number of use times, for example, every 100 times, of the toilet bowl sterilization device. When the electrodes consume and the areas of the electrodes 5 decrease successively, the gentle voltage increase is observed according to the number of use times. When the electrodes 5 are completely consumed, the voltage increase does not appear any more. The consumption of the electrodes 5 is decided from this phenomenon and the exchange of the electrodes 5 is carried out. When the abnormality is detected, the abnormality is announced by a buzzer 13.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adhesion of scale and slime and generation of bad odor and facilitate the mounting work of the device by connecting an electrolytic part for eluting sterilizable metal ions and a controller for controlling a current- carrying condition through electric cables, in a water reservoir tank of a flush toilet system. SOLUTION: An electrolytic part 3 and a controller 1 are provided in a low tank 10 connected to a toilet stool 14 and electrodes 5, 6 eluting sterilizable metal ion of the electrolytic part 3 are connected to a water level sensor 7 through an electric cable 8. In this way, opened condition of a cleaning valve 13 is detected by a water level sensor 7 because of fall of water level and since electric currents are supplied to the electrodes 5, 6 by restoration of water level, sterilizable metal ions are eluted and cleaning water for the toilet stool containing sterilizable metal ions is stored in the low tank 10. Hence, adhesion of scale and slime and generation of bad odor are prevented. And further, the attaching work is easy and it can be used for a long time despite a small and light weight device.

SOLUTION: After a prescribed concentration of silver ion is generated in bathtub water, a circulating pump is turned ON/OFF. Actually, the pump is turned OFF for time T, and the pump is then turned ON for time tb. During the time T of OFF of the circulating pump, propagation of bacteria in the bathtub water can be suppressed by the sterilizing effect of silver ions to prevent the rise of turbidity and generation of slime and odor by the bacteria. After the OFF operation of the circulating pump for the time T, the circulating pump is turned ON for the time tb to perform the filtration of pollutant coagulation. Namely, since the pollutant is condensed in the bathtub bottom part by the condensation effect of silver ions, the pollutant coagulation has a large effective volume and is easily filtered to shorten the filtration time.

SOLUTION: A water storing part of a flush tank is provided with at least one pair of electrodes 6a and 6b at least one of which is a silver one. By impressing the silver electrode used as an anode, therefore, a current flows between the electrodes and silver ions dissolve from the silver electrode being the anode and are supplied into toilet stool flushing water. Since the toilet stool flushing water being present in the flush tank 22 and containing the silver ions is supplied to a flush toilet stool 1 after the flush toilet stool 1 is used, the toilet stool flushing water containing the silver ions stay in a trap part of the flush toilet stool 1 after filth is flushed away. According to this constitution, the inside of the flush toilet stool is sterilized by the silver ions and sticking of fur and slime due to propagation of miscellaneous bacteria and the consequent of occurrence of odor can be prevented.

SOLUTION: City water to be treated flows at first into a vessel 1 packed with the cation exchange resin and the weak acidic softened water is obtained by ion-exchanging the hydrogen ion existing in the cation exchange resin with a hardness component such as calcium ion, magnesium ion present in the city water. Next, the weak acidic softened city water is passed through an electric generator with an impeller, which is at a poststage of the vessel 1 packed with the cation exchange resin, to rotate the impeller to generate electric power in the electric generator 2. Next, the city water is passed through a pH sensor part 4 provided at the poststage of the electric generator 2. At this time, the output of the pH sensor part 4 is displayed on a pH indicator 3 as shown by a broken line and the detected pH is outputted by the pH indicator 3. The city water passed through the pH sensor part 4 is weak acidic and softened.
