    • PURPOSE:To improve the workability by providing a member for controlling an insertion position against a window of a stopper in a housing and a terminal fixture, and a moving the terminal fixture by a predetermined stroke from back to the front of the window. CONSTITUTION:When a female terminal C is inserted to a normal position inside of a terminal housing 3, a front end of an electric contact part C, abuts on a front upper wall 4 to hinder front loose out, and a projection 5a of a flexible fixing piece 5 is engaged with a fixing hole 14 of a base part 13 for the first fixture to hinder rear loose-out. In the case of the halfway insertion that a rear shoulder part 15 of the female terminal C is positioned at a part of a baffle plate 7, a terminal fixture B is inclined against a window 6, and when a stopper 9 is inserted from a wide part 6b to a terminal housing 3, the tip of the stopper 9 abuts on the rear shoulder part 15. At this stage, a projecting piece 10 is pushed forward along the back surface of the baffle plate 7 and while the terminal fixture B is turned shown with an arrow R, the female terminal C is progressed. As a result, the female terminal C is moved to a normal position to achieve the first lock. Imperfect insertion is thereby eliminated, and double lock can be perform simultaneously.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance workability and prevent imperfect fitting of connectors with each other by causing that acting surface of an eccentric cam channel which fits with a pin to be almost perpendicular to the foward direction of each pin when both housings are completely fitted with each other. CONSTITUTION:A male connector A has pins 7 each mounted on the front portion of each side wall of housing 1 and a cover 8 mounted on its rear wire connection side and is locked by members 9a, 9b. A female connector B includes a receiving hood 10 for the connector A disposed on the front portion of housing 4, channels 11 provided in both side walls of the housing 4 and permitting the pins 7 to advance and retreat, and a cam lever 13 provided in such a manner as being freely put in a turning movement via a fixed shaft 12. The cam lever 13 has an eccentric cam channel 14 which is engaged with each pin 7 and which is in the form of reverse V such that the opening of the channel is wide and becomes narrower toward the depth of the channel; one channeled wall surface 14a is perpendicular to the horizontal axis (x) of the cam lever 13. When the connectors are fitted with each other, some degree of catching sensation owing to inertia is obtained, providing good workability and preventing imperfect fitting.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate dispersion of close contact between a low melting point metal and a soluble conductor and make the fusion cut characteristics constant by providing the low melting point metal in a single piece with the fusion cut part of the soluble conductor by such a fastening means as pressure close contact, electron beam welding, etc. To make possible simple manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION:In fuse terminal 1 a soluble conductor 3 is arranged in a single piece between each one end of a pair of female terminal members 2, 2 in their longitudinal direction. A low melting point metal 4 such as Sn, Pb, etc., is arranged in a single piece with the fusion cut part 3a in the middle of the soluble conductor 3. The low melting point metal 4 is punched off from a sheet-shaped material, for ex. Cu alloy, in the spread form of the fuse terminal 1, followed by necessary process of bending. Then it is also OK to fix to the fusion cut part 3a of the soluble conductor 3 by means of electron beam welding etc., but fixing in advance is to be preferred. In the event of momentary flow of overcurrent, the low melting point metal 4 with good thermal conductivity absorbs heat so that an overcurrent to a minor degree does not directly lead to fusion cut of the fusion cut part 3a. At the joint part with the soluble conductor 3 the two metals make an alloy, which increases the volume resistance value of the fusion cut part 3a to quicken fusion cut in the low current range.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent misinsertion by letting a plate spring which is disposed in an electric contact part for receiving a male terminal supported at three points including stopping grooves formed on the side walls of the electric contact part while it is attached to the inner surface of the electric contact part around both ends of its length. CONSTITUTION:An electric connector consists of a connector 10 having a box- like electric contact part 12 formed at one end and a wire caulking part 14 at the other end, and a curved plate spring 16 disposed inside the contact part 12, so electric connection is obtained by inserting a male terminal into the contact part 12. The contact part 12 is formed of side walls 18a provided standing on both sides of a base plate 11 at one end of its length which are put to face each other for forming a box-like form. The plate spring 16 is held in the contact part 12 by engagement of ears 26 protruding on both sides of it with stopping grooves 22 cut and formed in the side walls 18a of the contact part 12. The plate spring 16 is thus supported at three points because it is stopped at the stopping grooves 22 while it is attached to the inner surface of the contacting part around both ends of its length, thereby rattling is eliminated and misinsertion of a male terminal can be prevented.

Between the first engaging protruded part 31 and the second engaging protruded part 40, the part of the tip side of the terminal locking lance 16 comes in and is positioned.
