CONSTITUTION:Within the title magnetic field generating device having opposite magnetic pole pieces 2, 3 forming a cavity 5 upward and downward so as to generate a magnetic field in the cavity 5, an adjusting mechanism 6 for vertically shifting the second shims 2 is provided on the central part of the magnetic pole pieces 3 (the first shim) structured as if wrapping the magnetic pole piece in the central part (the second shims)2. For example, respective four each of permanent magnet blocks 1 are coupled with one another on the side surface parts of the opposite one pair of the first shims 3 while respective yokes 4 couple the upper and lower pairs of permanent magnets to make a magnetic circuit further to form a cavity between upper and lower magnetic pieces 2. On the other hand, the interval between the cavities of the second shims 2 is made adjustable by turning the adjusting bolt 6 to move the second shims 2. Besides, the permanent blocks 1 are to be made of rare earth magnet.

    • PURPOSE:To concentrate magnetic flux effectively in the vicinity of the center of an air gap, and a high strength magnetic field is generated without increasing magnet material by a method wherein the center part of a pole piece is composed of soft magnetic material, and its circumferential part is composed of the material having the permeability lower than the soft magnetic material. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic circuit is composed of a pair of opposing permanent magnet part 1 on which an air gap 5 is formed, and a pair of magnetic field adjusting pole piece 2, which are fixed to the permanent magnet part 1, is magnetically coupled by a tabular yoke 3 and a support pole 4. The center part 21 of the pole piece is composed of an electromagnetic soft steel plate and the circumferential part 22 is composed of SS steel having the permeability lower than that of the electromagnetic soft steel plate which constitute the center part 21. Also, the upper and the lower permanent magnet parts 1 are composed of eight permanent magnet constituent bodies having almost trapezoidal cross-section. By effectively concentrating the magnetic flux coming from the permanent magnet in the vicinity of the air gap center, the intensity of magnetic field in the air gap center can be increased, a high strength uniform magnetic field can be generated in the vicinity of the air gap center using the same quantity as before, and the device can be manufactured by the technique easier than that heretofore in use.

A yoke part is provided with an adjustment bolt 6 to finely move the permanent magnet part 1 and the pole piece 2 integrally in a rectangular direction to a central axis direction of the pole piece 2. Thereby, it is possible to realize high precision and to improve uniformity without damaging a permanent magnet and peeling off adhesive.

Upper and lower permanent magnet sections are composed of eight permanent magnet components having approxi mately trapezoidal cross section. Each permanent magnet component 1 is ar ranged, by means of the protrusion 4 of the yoke 3, such that the angle between the pole face of the permanent magnet component 1 and the horizontal face of the yoke 3 is in the range of 1-10 deg.. Consequently, flux leakage is reduced and the flux can effectively be concentrated in the vicinity of the center of the air gap.

A high frequency voltage-generating circuit 5 is connected between switching elements SW1-SW3 and SW4-SW7. The number of the switching elements is thus made smaller than the number of the nozzles.

The electromagnetic braking force enables the rotational speed of the spool 2 to equalize itself with a preset target rotational speed capable of preventing backlash. Thus, the rotation of the rotor is suppressed by the electromagnetic braking force which arose in the brake circuit 102, i.e., the rotation of the spool 2 is suppressed and its rotational speed is reduced so as for the rotational speed to be equalized with the target rotational speed capable of preventing backlash and so as for backlash phenomena to be prevented from occurring.
