    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple type reversible two-color heat-sensitive recording medium for which the reaction between a coloring agent and a color developer is utilized, which can easily perform a colored recording and a record deletion by heating only, and in addition, can stably keep the colored recording state and the record deleted state even at a normal temperature, and can easily form a two-color image by one application of heat; and to provide a heat-sensitive recording method using the recording medium. SOLUTION: For this reversible two-color heat-sensitive recording medium, two kinds of reversible thermal coloring compositions are separately and independently made to exist on a supporting body. In this case, for the two kinds of reversible thermal coloring compositions, coloring tones are different, and also, coloring state maintaining minimum cooling speeds required to obtain colored bodies are different. All the reversible thermal coloring compositions existing on the recording medium are heated and placed under a molten state, and then, rapidly cooled. Thus, a mixed color image wherein all the reversible thermally coloring compositions have been colored is formed for a first recording condition. In the meantime, the reversible thermally coloring compositions are cooled by a cooling speed by which only one of the reversible thermal coloring compositions can be colored, and thus, a single color image is formed for a second recording condition. For this forming method of a two-color image, both recording conditions are selectively used.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high-speed writing, to allow handy portability for a display medium, and to provide inexpensively a substitute for paper in which plural pictures can be seen side by side, by installing one side of electrical wiring for applying voltage or current to display places in a multi-layer wiring structure on a substrate. SOLUTION: A connector terminal 1 is one for a scanning electrode 2 making display places oppositely face each other. Connection wiring 10 is installed under an insulation film 4, connecting the connector terminal 1 to the scanning electrode 2 to form a multi-layer structure with the scanning electrode 2. A switching part 5 for the scanning electrode is connected to the connector terminal 1 of the scanning electrode 2. A signal electrode 9 is one part of the signal electrodes facing oppositely with the display places in-between, and is also the connector terminal of a signal conductor. A switching part 6 for the signal electrode is connected to the connector terminal of the signal electrode 9. With this structure, the connector terminal 1 is disposed only in a vertical direction, which can reduce the planar size of a display medium.
