SOLUTION: This device possesses a gas supplying means 5 supplying the gas to fluidize toner transferred by the gas flow transferring means 4 moving the recovered toner recovered by the cleaning means and changing it into the gaseous mixture, a connection aperture part 7 formed at the midway of a gaseous mixture carrying path 6 and having an aperture that is larger than the inside diameter of the gaseous mixture carrying path, a storing means 8 connected to the connection aperture part in a communicating state and storing the foreign matter such as the flocculated toner in the gaseous mixture or the paper powder or the like, an exhausting means 10 exhausting only the gas to outside by separating the recovered toner from the gaseous mixture carried through the gaseous mixture carrying path and a controlling means 19. Then, the flow speed of the gaseous mixture carried through the gasous mixture carrying path is adjusted by the controlling means 19, so that the foreign matter such as the focculated toner or the paper powder or the like is selected from the gasous mixture and is stored at the inside of the storing means 8 through the connection aperture part 7.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the vibration of an image carrying drum caused by the vibration of an image forming element coming into press-contact with the image carrier drum, for suppressing an abnormal sound generated from the image carrying drum by fixedly arranging a weight in the image carrying drum and setting the weight of the image carrying drum and the weight, so as to satisfy specific conditions. SOLUTION: The weight 26 whose outside diameter is slightly smaller than the inside diameter of a photoreceptor drum 7 is used and fixed on the inner periphery of the drum 7 by an adhesive 27. The weight 26 is fixedly arranged in the image carrier drum of such a drum 7. When the weight of the image carrying drum is defined as W1 and the weight 26 is defined as W2 , the weight W1 and the weight W2 are set to satisfy W2 /W1 >=1. Thus, the vibration is transmitted from a cleaning blade, but the total weight is increased by the weight 26 and the rigidity of the whole is increased as well, so that the vibration occurring in the drum 7 is suppressed to stop the generation of the abnormal sound.

In the case of a model without the preliminary scanning, the original type is discriminated in the generation of a 1st version (K version) and the spatial filter in matching with the discriminated original is used in the succeeding CMY version. Thus, in the generation of K version, the smoothing filter and the edge emphasis filter are used.
