摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the heat fusion of a transfer sheet and an image receiving sheet at the time of printing, by forming a transfer sheet for use in multiple-time recording by providing a thermal transfer layer consisting of a resin binder, a dye and an antifriction material on a base material sheet. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer layer 3 consisting of a resin binder, a dye and an antifriction material is provided to one surface of a base material sheet 2 and a heat resistant layer 4 is provided to the other surface of said base material sheet 2 to form a transfer sheet for multiple-time recording. As the base material sheet, a polyester film or an aramid film is pref. and, as the dye, a disperse dye, an oil soluble dye, a basic dye and a leuco dye can be used. As the antifriction material, polyethylene wax and a silicone resin are pref. and the content thereof in the thermal transfer layer is pref. 15-30wt%.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain an image receiving member which causes no transition of resin by forming a resin layer which does not stick to a heat transfer sheet uniformly onto a dye receiving layer provided on a substrate thereby peeling the heat transfer sheet smoothly from the surface of the image receiving member. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer image receiving member 4 is composed by providing a dye receiving layer 2 having the dyeing performance against a sublimation dye and a resin layer 3 which does not stick to a heat transfer sheet onto a basic material such as paper or plastic. The non-viscous resin layer 3 is applied uniformly onto the dye receiving layer 2, while fluororesin, silicon resin, hydrocarbon system resin, etc. having high surface energy and do not stick to the heat transfer sheet binder, or having high glass transition temperature so as not to be fused or sticked by the printing heat, or being provided with heat resistance by means of a thermosetting resin are employed as the material for the non-viscous resin layer 3. Such binder as having relatively low glass transition temperature or polar group and sufficiently dyed by the dye being transferred from the thermal transfer sheet during heating is employed in the dye receiving layer 2. The sublimated dye passes through the non-viscous resin layer 3 and arrive the dye receiving layer 2 so as to perform dyeing.

摘要： PURPOSE:To peel a heat transfer sheet smoothly from the surface of an image receiving member and to obtain an image receiving member having high concentration of dye by forming a resin layer which does not stick to the heat transfer sheet partially onto a dye receiving layer provided on a base material. CONSTITUTION:A heat transfer image receiving layer 4 is composed by providing a dye receiving layer 2 which is dyed by a sublimation dye and a discontinuous resin layer 3 which does not stick to a heat transfer sheet onto a base member 1 such as paper or plastic. The non-viscous resin layer 3 is formed partially such that only the non-viscous resin layer 3 is projected from the surface of an image receiving member 4. Fluororesin or silicon resin having low surface energy and does not stick to the heat transfer sheet binder, or having high glass transition temperature so as not to be fused or sticked by the printing heat, or being provided with heat resistance by means of a thermosetting resin or the transition of resin therein is prevented by adding a lubricant is employed as the material for the non-viscous resin layer 3. Such binder as having relatively low glass transition temperature or a polar group and sufficiently dyed by the dye being transferred from the heat transfer sheet during heating is employed in the dye receiving layer 2.

摘要： PURPOSE:To shorten a time required for recording one piece of card without providing a special mechanism on control, by a method wherein a movable carriage carrying a card thereon is allowed to move back and forth while recording is conducted on the card and a color-ink film is continuously fed in a fixed direction. CONSTITUTION:A color-ink film 22 is so placed that the head of Y-color thereof is set right under the heating resistor array of a thermal head 20. A movable carriage 27 starts travelling in the direction (d); simultaneously the film 22 starts running in the direction (f) at the same speed as that of the carriage 27, and the thermal head 20 transfers signals for recording the Y-color component sent sequentially from memory to start the Y-color recording at the leading edge of a card 26. Upon completion of the Y-color recording, the M-color (and BK-color) signals are transferred in the exact reverse read-order to that for the Y-color signals; simultaneously the movable carridge 27 starts travelling in the direction (e), and the film 22 starts running in the direction (f). At this time, the head of the M-color of the film 22 has been brought to right under the heating resistor array. With the M (or BK) color recording, image signals stored in memory are recorded in the order reverse to that of the Y (or C) color recording, starting at the last scanning line.

CONSTITUTION:The first feeding rollers 11 are provided for a recording sheet 1 on the downstream side of a thermal head 3, the sheet 1 is fed by the rollers 11 in the direction of an arrow A, while the second feeding rollers 12 feed the heat- fusible ink film 2 at a velocity of lower than the feeding velocity of the sheet 1 in the opposite direction of an arrow C while exerting a tension on the film 2. Accordingly, frictional forces fH, fP exerted on the ink film 2 are opposite to the feeding direction C of the ink film 2. As a result, even when the large-small relationship of the forces fH, fP is changed, the ink film is fed at a constantly fixed velocity without sagging.

Next, the aforesaid composition is applied 1-15mu thick on a paper sheet having Bekk smoothness of the surface of 5,000- 70,000sec, the transparency of 50-90% and the thickness of 5-50mu, thereby the thermally-fusible ink layer is provided.

On the other hand, for example, red forming layer 5 consisting of a leuco dye and a color developing agent, etc. is prepared on substrate 4 to provide usual thermosensitive recording paper 6, and color forming faces 2, 5 of the two are contacted. The 2-color recording paper thus obtained by advances in the arrow direction. It is allowed to form a color by heating ink film 3 with pressing roller 12 and heating head 7, film 3 is stripped off at guide 14, and color forming face 5 is allowed to develop a color with pressing roller 13 and heating head 9 to form a 2-color image.
